The table we were seated at was a nice size to accomodate 5 people, and we were able to have good conversation among business people who did not know each other well. Service was great and we all enjoyed the experience. The location was a cab ride away from the hotels we were staying at but worth the effort getting there.

  • The classic Catch restuarant
    OpenTable Diner Since 2010

The classic Catch restuarant has been upgraded to the growing urban environment of Anaheim's Platinum Triangle. The bar is a perfect spot before and after Angels Baseball, Ducks Hockey, any of 70 area movie screens, or concerts at either the Honda center or the neighboring Grove theater. The Catch leads with the quality of the food and follows with outstanding service. The ideal business lunch spot easily beats out any of the current competition. The food is a combination of creative receipes on seafood, salads and steaks as well as delicious traditional fare. The gold medal winning irish red ale is a can't miss and the wine list is awesome. I have been over 12 times to the new site and have always 100% satisfied. One word...GO!

The food was fantastic and the server recommended a great wine. The only negative was that we were (nicely) asked to take our group to the bar after 3 hours at the table (which didn't seem excessive for appetizers, dinner, dessert and coffee).

Food was very good and appears to be tied to Taps in Brea, another great place. Only drawback was some items were not available and wine chosen was also not available. Service was acceptable but has room for improvement, given slower than expected entree delivery. Overall a surprise given location.

We had been to this restaurant many years ago and were not terribly impressed. This was our first visit since it re-opened, and liked it immensely. There were so many great sounding entrees on the menu, it was hard to make a choice. Toby was our server and she helped to make our evening a memorable experience.

  • Interesting location in ground
    OpenTable Diner Since 2008

Interesting location in ground level of a residential building on the perimeter of the Anaheim stadium parking lot. Valet parking appears to be the only option ($6 w/o tip). Large circular bar dominates. Dining rooms are nicely appointed, but the large party (and I mean party) seated near us put a damper on what was intended as a quiet dinner with a nice bottle of wine. Service gets high marks, food quality was quite good.

The remake of The Catch is awesome. The home plate shaped bar is very fun and will be a great meeting place before the Angels games this year. Service was very good even though thy had just opened! Food was fantastic and reasonably priced. A great place, we are glad they are back!

  • The food was absolutely delicious.
    OpenTable Diner Since 2010

The food was absolutely delicious. We opted for steak instead of seafood. I had the filet mignon and my husband had the rib eye - both were excellent. We also had the "hot chocolate" dessert, which is a mountain of chocolate covered icecream and graham crackers lit on fire with 151 and caramel - an impressive display and decadent treat! The service was great, but almost too friendly in that we wondered if the servers were encouraged to strike up conversations with their tables. When you're out as a couple it's a little awkward to have a server ask you your plans for the evening. Also, it was a bit loud, but we probably could have asked for a more quiet section in the back. We were near the bar and kitchen, so it was a little noisy.
