  • Tasty cocktails, over-volumed music

Stylish upscale bar/club in the ground zero trendy land of Old Town Scottsdale. It is slightly hard to find being at the top of two different staircases and across an elevated walk way, but once inside the room is dark, stylish, and large. Only had drinks here, though I have read their food is good as well. The cocktails were tasty and intricate. The bar staff is conversational and personable without being overbearing. The only knock for me was a DJ who was BLASTING crazy loud music too early in the evening. The rule is to raise the music as the room fills. This guy was pinging the meter with about 8 people in the room. It was driving folks out including me and I loved the musical selection (Can't go wrong with the Meters!).

The casa Blanca lounge was absolutely fantastic. I try to avoid old town Scottsdale as much as possible. Usually in old town the wait staffs act like the are doing you a favor by serving you, its packed all the time and the music is so loud your ears bleed. I was very suprised with Casa Blanca Lounge it was the complete opposite of my stereotype of old town. The wait staff was attentive but not annoying, the music was just perfect and the drinks were amazing. This has to be the best posse in AZ to get drinks. If service and the quality of what you pay for is important to you go to Casa Blanca you won't be disappointed. m
