The Carversville Inn
Special Event with delicious foodOh my, what a great evening of delicious food. Super. Service was prompt and friendly. Not too noisy and they purposely seated people every other table as to not have people too close together. Loved the historic setting. Would go back every day if I had the money!6/13/2013 12:00:00 AMSmall-town Country GemHaving driven past this spot many times and having heard wonderful things about it, we recently made a special occasion visit and enjoyed a delightful meal. The food (entrees of Filet Mignon and Salmon, with varying accompaniments) was absolutely wonderful, the service was friendly and attentive but not bothersome, and the overall ambiance was great. Being a very slow weeknight there were very few other diners present, but I get the feeling that they provide just as nice an experience when the tables are filled - just probably not as quiet. We will definitely return to find out.6/11/2013 12:00:00 AMa Bucks County treatOn a busy Friday night we were seated on time,at the table by the fireplace we requested, good service, great food, and we enjoy the location in Bucks County,6/7/2013 12:00:00 AMVery nice restaurantWould highly recommend, staff very laid back on a Wednesday night, maybe a little too laid back6/5/2013 12:00:00 AMA FavoriteThe Carversville Inn is one of our favorites. Staff is trained and qualified and food was quite good. Setting is great in the small Bucks County town near the Delaware river. Will likely try it for dinner before long.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMRogerOne of our favorite places. The food is generally better than you think it will be but not exceptional - you are also not paying exceptional prices. The wine by the glass list is very good and reasonably priced. Highly recommended.3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMDinner was really deliciousDinner was really delicious at Carversville Inn. We were there with another couple and hadn't eaten there for several years, we will be back. Our salads were cold and crisp as starters, two of us had the crabcakes with remoulade sauce for dinner. Very nice! The two other diners had a spicy seafood stew, they loved it too. We all had dessert, three had homemade ice cream of different flavors, all very tasty and not too sweet. The last person had a delicious bread pudding. We will go back, too many years have gone by between visits.3/15/2013 12:00:00 AMcan't EVER say anything aboutcan't EVER say anything about this place other than IT IS THE BEST RESTAURANT IN BUCKS OR ANYWHERE!!! love the charm, the people, the servers, the food!! best bread anywhere, best rack of lamb (incl mint jelly), best short ribs, and best endive salad in the whole wide world! i live 25 minutes away and must go at least once or twice a month, but if i lived closer i would be there all the time!!! special, special, special!!
