"The food was fantastic - I especially recommend the Barramundi. The wine selection and pricing is very good as well. The service was fantastic - we had left our Penguins tickets at home the manager went out of his way to help us. We will be back."

"It was very loud the night we went. There was a large group nearby who kept singing "Happy Birthday". If someone was there for a romantic dinner, this noise was very distracting. It did not bother us though. The food was terrific, although it was a while until it actually arrived. The surroundings were beautiful!"

"All was great, had expectations of a stuffy fancy restaurant. After joking with the waiter and getting the braised short rib appetizer it was nothing but great steak and wine."

"Chose The Carlton to celebrate a dear friend's birthday and, as usual, was not disappointed. Each entree selection was excellent. Complimentary birthday dessert was plentiful for all to enjoy. Bobby, our waiter, couldn't have been more attentive, but not intrusive. The Carlton is our choice for fine dining downtown."
