This is an expensive restaurant, but you certainly get what you pay for here, quality everything. If you are celebrating a special occasion while in Seattle, this is a perfect choice!"

  • "The wait staff was very attentive and provided incredible service, especially given that the food was terrible! Steaks that were cremated on the outside and under-cooked on the inside. Also, "Porterhouse" seemed more like a T-bone. Lobster mac & Cheese - Lobster was over cooked and flavor was a little off. . . . Asparagus, over cooked and fiberous. Prosciutto wrapped mozzarella was OK. To their credit, wait staff did bring my concerns to the manager's attention and after discussion, they did comp us on the food. May consider for lunch some day to give them another chance."

  • "Mother's Day brunch was good, but I was anticipating superb! Not quite sure why it didn't meet my expectations, but I think it might have been the crab shells in my food. Also, there were many small children throughout and that brought the noise level up. I did not expect the large number of small children (and I love kids, but....) and expected the brunch to be more elegant. Won't keep me from returning because prior dinner was everything and more, but just might not return for a special day brunch again."

  • "Have had the opportunity to go to numerous Capital Grille locations- Denver, Las Vegas, Atlanta, etc. Have consistently seen that Seattle is good- but not the best of the group. Had a table of 6, and most folks said their food was good, so this is nitpicky. But my steak was overdone- they put sauce and butter on it even though asked to skip. So to cook off the sauce and butter they hit it again- and it was suddenly overdone and replated. Ugh. The coconut cream pie- worse than at other locations. The creamed corn? Average. I know that this can be done better, and my team still enjoyed lunch- but expect more. Will we go back? Likely- but next time I am going to have my steak redone and see if it can be done perfectly..."

  • "Although we are vegetarians, we took our son here for his birthday. They were very solicitous. The menu was vast. The veggie sides were OK. They even brought a free dessert. But was it expensive! With tip, the bill topped $300. If I'm going to spend this kind of money on a steakhouse, I'd go to Canlis and get a view!"

Our waiter, Matthew, made the evening truly special. He recommended items on the menu based on people's tastes and provided just the right amount of attention. We never felt rushed but when we needed something he seemed to be right there."

From the champagne toast at the beginning, to the special cocktails, to the PERFECTLY cooked steaks, and the grand reveal of the watch; it was an A+ experience. Some would say it is expensive, but you get what you pay for, and this was worth every penny!"

  • "Had dinner on a Saturday night. Highly recommend the copper river salmon, lobster mac and cheese and porcini rubbed delmonico steak. Best steak I have ever had. I will be going back for it as well as the excellent service I received. Luis is a great server and made my night special. He toasted my gf and I with champagne as he told us the specials and his recommendations. Each course was brought out in good time and we always had our water and drink glasses filled. All the staff was welcoming, friendly and relaxed. We didn't feel rushed at all. I can't wait to go back."

  • "The food was insanely good. I had the truffle fries with the porcini rubbed delmonico with 15 year aged balasmic and it was just bite after bite of heaven. I'm mainly writing a review for this place though because of our phenomenal waiter Chris Nelson. He took the experience from great to excellent just by being there and being so attentive and personable. Because of him, it was an unparalleled dining experience. You can have good food at many places but not encounter being treated so well ever. A+ for him."

  • "The service was excellent and in that regard completely met our needs. The food was very expensive and the steaks weren't that great. Had the bone-in filet medium rare. The fillet was not uniform thickness and so the preparation was medium well to medium rare. Too much fight for a filet mignon in my opinion. Probably should have sent it back. The lobster mac and cheese as well as the truffle fries were quite tasty!"

The prawns served on a tray of ice were chilled perfectly and delicious. We had the N. Y. strip steak. Manager Steve Smith came by and checked to see if it was prepared as we had ordered. My experience with steakhouses is that you over pay and everything you taste is just so-so - not this time. The service was exactly what was expected, fantastic. The food was better than we expected. We savored every bite of the crab/lobster cakes appetizer we shared. The Copper River Salmon I ordered was a much larger portion than I anticipated and it was indeed, properly prepared-delicious. The asparagus with it was divine. My husband said his Delmonico with aged balsamic was over the top. The cocktails were refreshing, the wine fantastic. "

  • "I mentioned that it was my son's graduation when I made the reservations and our Server definitely made the evening special. Our table had a nice Congratulations card with some decorative touches. The Server was extremely attentive to us and made certain to have us on Time for the graduation ceremony. The food was outstanding, my son's favorite is Filet Mignon and it was cooked perfectly, he said it was the most tender steak he had ever had. Our server ended our perfect dinner with a complimentary dessert of creme brulee and chocolate mousse for our son, it was wonderful!"

  • "My wife and I went for our first time for our 6th year anniversary and the evening was fantastic with a great server named Chris who took great care of us, he picked a perfect wine that wasn't to spendy that we loved, I love steak and the one he recommended based on my preference for cut of meat was right on the mark, one of best I've ever eaten. We were treated to dessert on the house and even an anniversary card from the team. Way to go Cap Grill, we'll be back and can't wait to send friends and clients."

  • "I have had many steaks over the years and it always amazes me how differently they can be prepared. We got a plain filet and beef tenderloin with lobster tails. Both steaks were very good and cooked perfectly but each with a very different taste. I couldn't decide which I liked the most. I would also recommend the Parmesan truffle fries. They were addictive. Great service. It is expensive but you will not be disappointed."

  • "Started with a well made cocktail while they opened a great bottle of wine that we brought with us, then Steak Tartare with Truffle Deviled Egg, Ceasar salads, Sesame Seared Tuna and their Porcini Rubbed Delmonico with 15-Year Aged Balsamic (cooked perfectly). Omar took great care of us in a quiet way. The environment is comfortable and fairly quiet. We could all hear each other and no one had raise their voice. Perfect evening. "
