Awesome steaks & sides big enough to share for two. I really enjoyed going for lunch because the mood was a little more casual and the portions a bit smaller (as well as the prices). Great wine list and they also make one heck of a dirty martini!

I've been to almost every steak and seafood restaurant in Vegas and I can say that Capital Grille has now achieved the #1 position. The Kansas City bone-in special was amazing - more like a huge filet mignon rather than a sirloin. The seafood combination appetizer was also amazing and well worth the extra price. The ambiance is also quite special since the restaurant has a 270 degree view of the Strip in between Wynn and Palazzo. I will definitely return to this restaurant for an outstanding meal.

Typical al a carte menu a bit on the pricey side, but excellent food. The filet is about 2 1/2 inches thick and cooked to perfection. The sides are great, and feed several people. Order a few and share. The calamari was a big hit at the table. Even without alcohol, expect to spend $75+ per person. Or about average for Las Vegas.

Our experience was severely dampened by the worst service we have had since moving to Las Vegas two years ago. This is the first time at Capital Grille in Las Vegas after moving from Scottsdale AZ where we enjoyed the Biltmore location very much always with great service. The food at the Las Vegas location was good however the experience was maddening including a very long wait to order and for each course. I was sad we wasted the evening here when there are so many restaurants with great service.

Capital Grille Las Vegas is one of our all-time favorites, which is tough, considering all of the fantastic gastronomic choices in this city. From the richly paneled walls, and friendly, but not overbearing wait, bar and hostess staff, to their signature cocktail, a fabulously pineapple infused premium vokda, served chilled; Capital Grille does not disappoint. My personal favorites are the lobster bisque, and the smoked salmon appetizer. For one of the best steaks in town, try the Delmonico cut bone-in ribeye perfectly aged, and perfectly seasoned, melts in your mouth. We will return again and again, and enjoy this great culinary delite.

It was fantastic! The food was excellent and the service was great. The waitstaff took the time to explain and answer any questions we had. She was excellent and caring because one item ordered was no longer available and she made suggestions so that the party still had a meal to remember. The steaks we ordered came exactly as we asked this is a rarity in that I usually have to send mine back. Dining at the Capital Grille is an experience. People should try it. This was our first experience with Capital Grille and we hope to visit Las Vegas again and return to this restaurant. We now plan to visit the local Capital Grille here in Chicago. It was a no hurry situation and everyone we encountered was polite and pleasant.

We celebrated our anniversary at the Capital Grill and were greeted with flower petals and a welcome note from the manager. The service was excellent, we had a mix up with our order and it was quickly resolved. We were give an complimentary glass of wine for the error. Also, at the end of the meal, we were surprised with champagne and cheesecake - the best I've ever tasted. We eat at the Capitol Grill every time we are in Las Vegas, or Washington and have never been disappointed. I recommend it highly.

My steak, ordered medium, was served rare. By the time it came back (medium-well), my wife had nearly finished her steak. In my mind, this is an unpardonable sin for a high-end steakhouse. Cooking steak is what they do, right? Our server apologized on behalf of the chef, but we should have been comped a dessert, at least. Then the cappuccino was so bitter as to be undrinkable, and -- adding insult to injury -- our bill included two drinks we hadn't ordered. Would not return or recommend.

The Capital Grilles are all nice classy places – nicely dressed staff, attentive service, white table cloths, good china place settings. We have visited them in Kansas City and Washington DC and had excellent experiences. Dinning this evening was a bit disappointing. The beef was, as it always has been – excellent! They are “Masters of Steak”. The lobster bisque was very nice and the chopped salad was good. The side dishes, vegetables and the potatoes au gratin, were “ok”. The Potatoes au gratin tasted like they forgot the potatoes. The flourless chocolate cake was “dry”. It was chocolate and thus good, but not an experience. They offered us a Banana Cream Pie – a pie crust, whipped cream and that was about it. Our recommendation is go

Fantastic food, great view over looking the Las Vegas Strip and Wynns. Steaks and side dishes some of the best around. The wine list is exceptional and the Captains list was likewise exceptional though expensive. The waiter was knowledgable about the food and the service was excellent, though the waiter, claimed he was a master somellier he was a tad on the pushy side for us to order a specific wine from the wine list. Though he touted his knowledge of wine and he pushed one label and type, he neve asked what it was we liked in wine, which a good wine steward should do. As a person with an 1,800 wine bottle cellar this was a put off to me. Would we go again, without a second thought, though we would bring our own vintage wine
