   Because May 11 was Mother’s Day. I decided to go all out and make reservations at capital Grille so that my 26 year-old daughter can get a feel of high standards and top-tier experience from a so-called top-tier restaurant however capital Grille failed this time. Once we were seated, we received a basket of bread however we did not get greeted by a waiter or waitress ever. After waiting approximately 37 minutes, I decided to ask for the manager, who was Danielle at the time and who was greeting people at the door once she found that no one came to our table. She had Chris wait on us. He was very polite and attentive to us however I felt that we were ignored for 37 minutes and I do have a filling that it may have been even longer and I’m not gotten up to find the manager, and by the way, there were approximately four waiters in our small area, waiting on other tables around us, and none of the four seem to even notice us.

   1st time...calamari wasn't crispy as I'd like...took a while for food to come out but it was reasonably so as it was a full house due to Mother’s Day. Once food came out the food wasn't hot. Honestly, I'm not sure I'll return as it wasn't above my expectations for the money spent. Let me add that Donte was an awesome server!!

   Out of a lot of items, food delivered late, wrong sides, took too long to get replacements. Service was excellent.

   It was wonderful. The staff was amazing. Shout out to Danielle. He was one of the best waiters we've had in a long time. We can't wait to go back.

   First time eating at this Capital Grille location. Really liked it! We had an excellent waiter and the food was delicious! The only complaint was it took almost an hour to get our entry! Bread, salad and wine came right away. Never got an explanation as to why so long for our entries. It was Mother’s Day and it was busy.

   The server was professional and attentive. However, the arrival of our entrees were very slow. Also, we alerted our server that the risotto and scallop dish was very salty.

   The brussel sprouts were not as well cooked as usual. The steak was top notch as always!!! My husband ordered ginger ale and when he asked for another they brought a different brand which he didn’t like. The waiter refused to acknowledge that it was different which was very strange. He didn’t charge us for either one but it was odd. If you want an amazing steak, it’s the place to go but you are overpaying for everything else.

    We were celebrating a friend’s birthday; everyone from the hostess to the waiter to the manager wished her happy birthday, served a fabulous free dessert and they even gave her a long stemmed rose. But even without the special attention; it was perfect. Quiet enough to be able to hear everyone at your table, impeccable service and the most delicious food. I will definitely go back!
