This time it was for brunch and it was 3 courses -- appetizer, entree and dessert. I had the clam chowder and my husband the salmon for appetizers and for entrees we both had the prime rib with two poached eggs with holandaise and roasted potatoes and cherry tomatoes. For dessert it was a panna cotta with strawberries. All were quite good with the prime rib being somewhat tough, which was strange. I originally made my reservation for 5 for Sunday April 21, 2013. I had to go back and change it to 6, and I ONLY changed the number in the party, nothing else. Not niticing that it also changed the date to the next day. When I arrived at the resteurant, it was not pleasant. There is something wrong with you software if when all you change is the number in the party the date is inadvertantly changed too. The food was delicious and the ambience was beautiful. It was two moms and two 10 year old girls. The girls thought the place was so cool inside and the staff was totally inviting and accepting of our mommy-daughter brunch. I saw a lot of families there. All having a great time. As always, we were treated to excellent choices from the menu, the cocktails and wine were served perfectly. Our waitress was knowledgable and professional with just the right degree of friendliness. We had the clam chowder and the calamari for appetizers and for entrees the scallops on a bed of artichokes and white polenta and the salmon on a bed of sweet pea risotto. The angel food shortcake with berries and whip cream were a great ending to a fantastic brunch. The service was great...thanks to Nicole our server. One of our party was running late but we were not hurried by the restaurant, and simply ordered appetizers and a bottle of wine until our party was complete.
