We chose this restaurant because we were going to the Symphony across the street. The weather was very cold and rainy so we were glad that we were close by and only had to walk a short distance. It costs a little more than we normally like to pay but it was delicious food. It was a little slow receiving the food but we still made it in time to the symphony. The waiter recommended the Halibut and so three of us got that and the fourth person got the veal. All were hot, well plated and came with an assortment of vegetables. They do charge extra for the bread but the olive oil dip is excellent with the garlic and spices they use.

Great selection of local seafood fresh off the boat! Our waiter, Darnell, new exactly how each plate was prepared and described each selection with great enthusiasm. When asked about the fresh oyster selection he made recommendations based upon his own sampling that night prior to his shift! One of the best waiters I've ever had! Great place and the service was way above par!

The food was fantastic, but be prepared for a big bill. Just to give you an idea, a meal for four, including one appetizer and drinks was around $300.00. The menu is seafood, steak and salads. I ordered the scallops, great portions and very flavorful. The service was fast and very accommodating, however my dining experience was on a slow Sunday. This would be a great place for a special occasion or even cocktails and appetizers. I would definitely recommend everyone give it a try.

We were advised by a friend that we HAD to go here. We are very glad we did. The food was great, the staff....very friendly. We especially enjoyed our server, Dave. He was knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful when it came to helping us make decisions. His personality was the topping on the creme brule!! Which, we might add, was to die for. Mind you, so was the crab cake and the steaks....Definitely a night to remember during a fabulous weekend.

Enjoyed a special night out at Brooklyn's, this was our first time to try this restaurant. The menu had a variety of choices, we had the salmon and halibut. They were excellent, prepared so you could enjoy the natural flavors. We enjoyed our booth where we could actually have a conversation without the din you usually get in other restaurants. Wine selection is fantastic both by the glass and bottle.

The Brooklyn is one of my five or so mid-town go-to places for a great lunch. This is a seafood house - highly recommended are the fish of the day, the bouillabaisse, and raw oysters. It's a comfortable spot for a business lunch, or with the spouse for a special treat like an anniversary lunch. Nice wine list, and I've heard the hamburgers are fine, but please, go for the seafood! Only miss IMHO is the (white) clam chowder - a bit too much flour as usual with white chowders. But I've had most items on the menu, and can assure you it is a bountiful and delicious set of choices. And I've never had a waiter who wasn't first class.

Excellent food and reasonably priced restaurant for lunch. The closeness of tables in the front part of the restaurant made a private conversation difficult. Ask to be seated in the back part if you do not want to share everybodies conversation.

On previous occasions I have always opted for some type of seafood dish here. After sharing a dozen oysters (excellent) I was tempted by the Jidori Chicken. The menu says this is brick pressed and oven roasted, served with a bacon wrapped traviso, ricotta cheese mashed potato, atlas globes and majool dates with marcona almonds. I think that this was one of the best chicken dishes I have ever had which will present a problem on my next visit: will it be fish or fowl?

Wasn't particularly busy but it was a Monday night. Our waitress was an adorable blond that gave us friendly and fantastic service. Great choice of cocktails and must recommend the one with a blood orange. The name escapes me but it did include the word fear. My boyfriend and I started with an order of their bread ( a must) the chefs bakers dozen of oysters (amazing) and the bacon wrapped venison ( best venison either of us ever had and cooked to perfection). Our entrees were the new York and the steak Oscar. Both were heavenly. We finished with the baked pear and mascarpone. This place has never let me down and I can't wait to come back:)

On very rainy Sunday afternoon following an resounding Symphony performance, the Brooklyn Seafood ,Steak and Oyster House resturant near by was a very quiet setting to enjoy a cocktail and some small plates off the menu. Especially liked the Venison wrapped in bacon.... and some pan fried oysters with spicy red sauce was most enjoyable with a glass of Acrobate Pinot Gris. Bowl of Clam chowder also hit the spot. We never order desert...... but the waiter convinced us share the carmel pear offering----next time I want my own - no sharing!! Great day to start the week....Thanks Brooklyn....

This is my favorite place for great food in Seattle! Perfect for a romantic evening or a night out with friends. We both had the Steak Oscar, a first time for my guy and the steak itself was melt in your mouth perfect! Presentation was exceptional, with the potato towers looking very hip. The staff has always been very attentive every time I have been there, even when it was with the children. The room is nice with warm woods and brass metals. The valet parking is a plus, so you don't have to find your own. LOVE LOVE LOVE this place!

Was disappointed with the thick, gooey, clam chowder. It was tasteless. Enjoyed the day boat scallops/ short rib. Delicious and well- presented. The key lime dessert was not like the previous time when I was in Seattle. It use to be light and had a very tasty lime flavor. This time it was very thick and lacked the lime flavor. Too much of the condensed milk. Excellent, attentive, service

I've been this restaurant twice, once with a friend for drinks, oysters and dinner and a second time for a romantic birthday celebration...both times I was not disappointed. The oyster selection rocks, the chef's seating is the best seat in the house and the Steak Oscar is to die for. I highly recommend this restaurant for all occasions, except maybe not with the kiddies...you will want to enjoy this meal, the ambience, etc.

I stopped in after going to an early evening lecture. Hungry but not starving. A couple of the small plates exactly filled the bill. The lobster ravioli was delicious with a cream sauce and fish roe (5*). Venison medallion wrapped in bacon had some gristle, and could have been cooked a bit longer, but was tasty (3* for an average 4* rating). Sitting at the counter with high-backed swivel chairs was interesting. The server was busy and stopped by occasionally. The wine list by the glass was adequate.
