"I couldn't get a reservation until 9pm and we arrived at 8:55 to a packed house. We were directed to the upstairs bar, then to a table at upstairs bar and forgotten about for about 15 minutes. The bar area server was overwhelmed and a bit awkward but once we got to our table at about 9:30 things were great. Food was interesting and delicious. Tables might be a bit too close together for some people, but the people next to us were friendly so it was fine."

"I made a reservation here for brunch on Easter Sunday. The food was delicious and the coffee was flowing! I had always heard great things about the Bristol, and was not let down with the quality and service!"

"Great menu! We loved the french approach of it. The lamb's tongue, perfectly cooked.
The Moscow mule, the dark and stormy and the Radda were our favorite drinks.
The service was very informative and friendly."

"We really ernjoyed the food - it is an upscale bar atmosphere with high end food. We did have one diner on a gluten free diet and the kitchen was not willing to accomodate her request to substitute polenta for the gnocchi that was served with the kitchen. Seemed a bit inflexible."

"The Bristol is my favorite restaurant in Chicago.
The food is always amazing.
The service is always perfect

This night we had a party of 4 and all tried different courses that we shared
Because the menu always changes, some were things that I wouldn't have tried.
But, everything was amazing and we were all thrilled.

Monkey Bread with Dill Butter, the Chicken with Aioli Sauce and the Moscow Mule remain my all time favorites, though."

"Food was very interesting and very creative. However, our server told us the chicken we ordered would take 35min. While we had time constraints, 35 min. would be ok. Well 45 min later our food was not served. 60 min later, the manager said he was sorry......then our server admitted and apologized that he had "forgotten" to place our order!!! The apology was fine, but why did it take 60 minutes to identify and address the problem? When our food arrived, the chicken was amazing! My son, unfortunately, had to leave before we finished. Our bill was adjusted to reflect the mistake. Great food, poor communication."
