  • "This restaurant has great, cozy ambiance. We had four people in our party who all ordered different items on the menu. Everyone was very pleased with their selections. The wine list was on an I-Pad because I'm sure it was too long to print and keep changing on paper. They even had several very difficult to get Quilceda Creek wines to choose from. Prices were well within reason. Overall, we were very pleased and would definitely go back."

The BEST PART of our dinner was the fact that the folks at the front made it possible to have Leslie for our server!   • "I had never been to the Brickhouse in Redmond Oregon. I took my daughter who is from Atlanta Georgia who goes to nice restaurants. We were greeted warmly at the front desk and quickly seated. We were handed a menu for dinner and specialty drinks by a very friendly waiter who gave us suggestions. He took our drink order and fixed them himself, then took our dinner order. It came in a very timely order. It was cooked exactly like we ordered. The food was excellent. The service was excellent. I would highly recommend the Brickhouse in Redmond Oregon to all of my family and friends."

  • "Made reservations for a Saturday evening for two at 7:30. Walked in at 7:25 and led to our table. Didn't see another empty table or booth. Ordered drinks while we waited for our dinner. Jack and water and the peach bellini were perfect. Dinner arrived shortly thereafter. NY strip was outstanding; tender, juicy, flavorful. She ordered the prawns in parchment paper. Claims it was better than the "shrimp en globo" at The Fort in Morrison, Co and that is saying something!!! All the ingredients were done to perfection, melt in your mouth delicious. Did not leave enough room for dessert. Service was excellent; attentive but not interruptive. Very nice interior with exposed brick walls and open ceilings making it a bit noisy, but ok."

  • "Would not recommend restaurant if anyone in your party has a medical condition that compromises their immune and is shy about sending food back. After we were served a rare pork chop, we were informed by the wait-staff the restaurant cooks their meat at lower temperatures than industry standards. The chowder was served a little cool, and the thickener was at the lumpy stage that happens near room temperature. Liked the visual atmosphere, had an extensive wine list and selection of mixed drinks."

  • "We have dined here on several occasions, but I am afraid this is our last! The service was excellent as always and the food was good too, but the portion size had gone way down. We ordered the special which was salmon and the piece was about 4 ozs with scattered broccoli and califlour for $32.00. Now we know it is a fine dining experience, but the price of this for the portion was crazy! We also felt that $9.50 for one shot of beafeaters on the rocks was over the top! Sorry to say that our favorite eating spot in Redmond is now crossed off our list!"

  • "Great steaks and fixings -- warm and cozy ambience -- wonderful service from Leslie. What else could you want? It is the best dinner in town (and probably the most expensive, but worth it!). Happy hour drink prices are a real bargain, and the wine list is endless (although we usually go "by-the-glass" selections). A long-time favorite for us."

I was also surprised by the small size of a glass of wine for the price, could have easily finished it with 2 moderate swallows had I been so inclined.   • "Super easy making the reservation online..friendly hostess showed us right to the table. The server arrived within two minutes to take our drink order..checked on us while we waited for the rest of our party. Drinks promptly to the table. Good server, polite, pleasant, but efficient, she kept the ball rolling, explaining the specials, answering questions. A little slow on the appetizer, which was OK, but the entrees wound up coming to the table before the appetizer was fnished. The food was delicious, well-prepared, and nice on the presentation. The server and staff made sure water glasses were filled and finished plates taken away. Overall, a very pleasant dining experience."

  • "Don't Bother writing a special request - I wasn't asking for a free anything, but to pre-order a creme brulee with a candle if possible, for a birthday surprise. Our server didn't know; when she found out she kept trying to jam a candle in his dessert - over his protests to please leave it alone. It was rather unceremonious and clumsily - she was nice and very attentive to one of our party - the rest of us not so much. Don't bother asking for your steak any particular way - Twice I received it completely different than I asked for it. I might have sent it back the second time but our server didn't wait for me to try it either time, everyone else was nearly done. I paid for the meal but didn't touch it."

  • "The Brickhouse is a gem of a restaurant in Redmond, Oregon. We are New Yorkers who were staying in Redmond overnight on route to the Painted Hills. Although not quite Peter Luger's in the quality of the steaks, the food was very good, as was the service and ambience. My husband and I had the ribeye and my son had a NY strip. Each was cooked perfectly. The fries were delicious, the creamed spinach a bit too creamy, but the artichoke and spinach dip was a hit. The chocolate souffle served with vanilla ice cream did not disappoint. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting central Oregon."

  • "The service here is the best I have encountered in a food establishment in Redmond. Whenever I want to get a steak dinner, this is where I head to, the food is cooked fresh to order and is fantastic. The desserts are outstanding, the chocolate soufflé is to die for.... Cant praise the place enough, I will be back again and again. Don't bother going anywhere else in Redmond if you fancy a steak, nothing compares to here on all counts."
