A word from The Brasserie - Grand Cayman
The Brasserie restaurant has been a culinary fixture in Georgetown for over thirteen years. In the past six years, with the culinary marriage of Chef Dean Max and owners Clarence and Lisa Flowers, the Brasserie has evolved into an even more spectacular jewel of the island.
Through these years of research, training, and planning this evolution, the Brasserie was proud to re-open its doors in the beginning of 2010 with a brand new organic garden, state of the art exhibition kitchen, a walk-in wine room with over 300 selections kept at the perfect temperature and their own fishing boat which ensures they always have fresh catch from the sea.
The Brasserie restaurant is a boutique 65 seat restaurant with bar that warms the soul with its British colonial charm. The restaurant is a hidden gem known by locals for its incredible fresh and interesting modern Caribbean cuisine.

  • "This is a great little fine out of the way in Georgetown. The food was excellent as well as the service. I really enjoyed the tuna ahi cooked perfectly to my specifications. If you enjoy craft beer, there's even a nice selection of Victory Beer on hand. The price fix menu they have on Monday night is a great deal. Highly recommended although it is VERY hard to find."

  • "After reading the amazing reviews this restaurant had, it was on our "must try" list while staying in the Cayman Islands. It was our first night's meal and it set the bar for the rest of the trip! Thursday nights have their specialty tacos and deals on their extensive wine list. We went on a double date with another couple and we were blown away by every menu item we tried! The staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend!"

  • "This restaurant was one of the last restaurants we ate at before leaving Cayman Islands. This, by far was the best food and service. The prices were reasonable and the food was really fresh and delicious! For appetizers, we had the oxtail tacos (AMAZING!), then we had the local organic salad (YUMMY and fresh!), and then the fish cakes - very good! We shared our main (which they split on two plated for us and made it look so beautiful). We ordered the wahoo (fresh catch). Below was a fresh medley of delicious vegetables. Our dessert was also so good. I honestly can't say anything bad about this place. I hate to say but I've been to Seven, Ragazzi, the lighthouse, Michael's Genuine, Yoshi (to name a few) and this was our favourite by far!"

  • "This is a restaurant we wouldn't miss when visiting the Cayman Islands. We eat here at least twice a week, take part in their special dinners and cooking demonstrations."

  • "Our visit to Cayman is not complete without a stop at our favorite restaurant, the Brasserie! Elegant but not snooty, complex flavors but excellent presentation, and lots of local flavors and love make this restaurant a required stop. We had the "fish wings" as an appetizer--excellent snapper lightly breaded and fried with a smoky salsa. Thursday is taco night, so we enjoyed wahoo and steak tacos along with 1/2 price selected bottles of wine. Our son chose the mussels with an order of fries as his main course, and he cleaned the plate. The service was very good and consistent--this is a classy restaurant with no snootiness!"

  • "We never miss an opportunity to dine at the Brasserie and you shouldn't either. As many ingredients as possible are sourced locally, including their garden right outside. It is even possible to dine outdoors in the garden. The menu selections are remarkably sophisticated and beautifully executed. Monday's Secret Pleasure special is a gem! If you only have one night to dine out in Grand Cayman, make it the Brasserie!"

  • "Great food, great service, excellent wine and cocktail list. Can't believe this place exists on an island! Eat in the garden where they grow their own food for a quieter experience."

  • "You can't go wrong with this restaurant. Both the wife and I had fresh fish and were completely satisfied. A lot of the ingredients and chicken are grown/raised on site. Much of what isn't on site is fresh from the island. If you get a chance to go outside to eat, take a look around the outside garden. Not overpriced for the quality of food, presentation, and ambiance. Try it. You will be happy."

  • "We were in the Caymans to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary and couldn't have picked a better place to have dinner. We were welcomed by a very friendly hostess and staff. The food, attention from our server and atmosphere we perfect. To top it all off we were given a tour of the garden by the manager. What a wonderful night we had. We will certainly make it a point to visit the Brasserie the next time we are in the Caymans. Monica & Scott Cassarino"
