The service was attentive but not smothering. Great ambience. Was able to have a conversation without raising our voices. Will definitely come back."

  • "We had lunch at the bottle on Tuesday the 8th of July. We had a very good experience. We chose the gazpacho, peach salad, rainbow trout and beef tian, for dessert it was a banana confection with ice cream. Everything without exception was nicely plated and excellent. The service was very good as well. We would certainly recommend it and will return!"

  • "The food portions do not disappoint. The scallops are the best in Huntsville and the filet melts in your mouth. The dessert portions are small, but also inexpensive (5 for one, 18 for a platter). This is the hottest place in town. Go for lunch or dinner"

  • "This was our first visit to The Bottle because they just went non-smoking in their bar the first do this month. The restaurant is beautiful and the service was great. The mussels appetizer was great. The tomato and okra salad was tasty and unique. Both our entrees were excellent and the wine great. We will return. Would love to see them offer "small bites" for dessert."

  • "Three diners. Two glasses of wine (total), two appetizers, three entrees, one desert. $270 with tip. Sorry but it was just not a $270 meal. Nothing memorable about the dining experience at all. A $60, 32oz bone-in ribeye that was a 16oz ribeye after you cut off the fat and remove the bone. Didn't care for how the ribeye was prepared or tasted. Son liked the filet. Doubtful we would return."

  • " I called a business customer from Huntsville who recommended this restaurant; overall a nice experience and the food was good. Also for those who care, the portions are HUGE! Usually when you go to a "nicer" restaurant, the portions are small to middle which are fine for me but I found the meals to be very large. I had the lamb which was wonderful and cooked to order, the presentation could have been better but the taste was good. My associates got the NY strip which again was large, probably around the 18oz range with a load of sides. Overall a good place. "

  • "We had a group of 5 celebrating a birthday. Four of us had dined here before and loved everything. The birthday girl was here for the first time and said she will certainly come back and often. We had a wonderful time, food and wine. Matt was our server and was very knowledgeable regarding our food and wine choices. He was very attentive but not overbearing. Our food and the wine choices were excellent. We all agreed this is the best restaurant in Huntsville for dining out with a perfect atmosphere."

  • "Four of us had dinner on a Friday night. Everything was excellent, except for one entree, which was not bad but not quite up to par. The person who had that meal chose not to ask for it to be redone, but after telling the waiter we were not charged for that entree. I had the best duck dish I have ever eaten - a mixture of breast cooked to perfection, sausage, and crispy leg & thigh with risotto and asparagus. Absolutely delicious. I am still thinking about that meal."

  • "Getting reservation was not a problem. May be because it was Wednesday. This was our second visit. Service was excellent. Server and Chef were very open and welcoming of our request for Vegetarian food. We told them what we like and what we do not like. Chef prepared very delicious Vegetarian food for me and my wife whose birthday we were celebrating. Our friends also had very good experience with their food too. Excellent dessert with Happy Birthday message and candle too."

  • "My sisters from Atlanta and I really enjoyed our meal here at the restaurant that had delicious food (especially the appetizers of mussels and shrimp). Service was efficient and very pleasant. They commented on how nice it was to see the chef in the restaurant. The only negative (and kind of a big one) was the smoking in the bar that made it difficult to even stand in the hostess section. We felt bad for the folks standing there, even though there was an air purifier there. It was also discouraging that this meant that we wanted to sit as far from the window & door as we could get because I love the bay windows there."

  • "Overall my husband and I were satisfied with the food and the decor. It was VERY busy in the dining room and so a bit noisy, BUT! it was a Friday night and a beautiful spring evening so I am not surprised at how busy they were. I had the duck and elk sausage and it was so good. The only negative for me about my meal was the rice that wasn't completely cooked and a bit bland. The asparagus was decent. My husband had the salmon and he LOVED it. The slaw made the meal for him. Our desserts consisted of Chocolate, Peanut Butter Jelly Time!, and we got a orange creme brulee. The last being both our favorites. The wine list was extensive, and had a great range in pricing depending on how much a person is looking to spend. We will be back."

I also had a beer that was $10! I wouldn't have ordered the beer had I known it was $10. Oh well, good food. We will be back."

Our business associates commented that our meal was as good as anything they had eaten in New York, Washington DC, Los Angeles...... Huntsville is lucky to have a restaurant as great a s The Bottle."

  • "Beautiful decor and seating. Server was pretentious and haughty. The actual service was good it was more his attitude. The crabcake was good and the succatash was a good bed although green pepper was a little heavy. I had the pan seared grouper. The sauce was too etoufee sauce was too salty which spoiled what was a lovely fish. However my wife ordered the twin pork chops. Oh my. They were perfectly grilled and were superb. We both love pork and I would say these pork chops were perhaps the best we ever had. We found room for a mediocre bread pudding (me) and an outstanding almond cheesecake with Cabernet sorbet (my wife) Overall the place was good. Obviously my wife chose wisely. About $160 with tip."
