  • "Excellent food and service. The chef came out and talked to almost every table which is nice to see!"

  • "We had lunch at the bottle on Tuesday the 8th of July. We had a very good experience. We chose the gazpacho, peach salad, rainbow trout and beef tian, for dessert it was a banana confection with ice cream. Everything without exception was nicely plated and excellent. The service was very good as well. We would certainly recommend it and will return!"

  • "My wife and I went there for our 15th wedding anniversary and really enjoyed our dining experience. The wait staff and food was very well done. We will be back very soon."

  • "This was our second visit to The Bottle, and everything was amazing. From appetizers and salad to entrees and ice cream, the meal was perfect. Pear salad, veal, and chocolate stout ice cream were our favorites. Wait staff were very attentive and knowledgable. Always a pleasure to dine at The Bottle."

  • "Andy's recommendation of the tile fish was excellent. Well prepared and well presented. The sauce was great. Kristi's service was excellent. Enjoyed the conversation."

  • "My wife and I enjoyed a fabulous experience at the Bottle; the perfect environment for celebrating our 38th wedding anniversary. The wait staff was attentive but not intrusive; the wine and food were sublime. The chef paid a pre and post meal visit to our table adding to the experience without detracting from the mood. Superb!"

  • "Not your everyday menu. Interesting & tasty choices. Great for special occasions."

  • "The food portions do not disappoint. The scallops are the best in Huntsville and the filet melts in your mouth. The dessert portions are small, but also inexpensive (5 for one, 18 for a platter). This is the hottest place in town. Go for lunch or dinner"

  • "This was our first visit to The Bottle because they just went non-smoking in their bar the first do this month. The restaurant is beautiful and the service was great. The mussels appetizer was great. The tomato and okra salad was tasty and unique. Both our entrees were excellent and the wine great. We will return. Would love to see them offer "small bites" for dessert."

  • "Celebrated two birthdays and an anniversary on Sat evening. First time at The Bottle. Enjoyed the entire evening, from appetizers to salads to entrees to desserts....can't wait to visit again. Service was terrific, and enjoyed meeting and talking to the Chef. Thanks!"

  • "The food and service were excellent and very fresh ingredients were used in all of the dishes."

  • "As always we enjoyed the food and service. However during our meal someone from the bar lit a Cigar and the odor was overpowering. It ruined the evening!"

  • "Three diners. Two glasses of wine (total), two appetizers, three entrees, one desert. $270 with tip. Sorry but it was just not a $270 meal. Nothing memorable about the dining experience at all. A $60, 32oz bone-in ribeye that was a 16oz ribeye after you cut off the fat and remove the bone. Didn't care for how the ribeye was prepared or tasted. Son liked the filet. Doubtful we would return."

  • "Service and food was great, but the fact that you can smoke at the bar (and the smell filters throughout the restaurant) is a deal breaker for me. I probably won't go back, but if the smell of cigarette smoke doesn't bother you then this place is a must try. "

  • "The food was very good and legitimately interesting. We felt like the cooks have a good sense of what fundamentally tastes good and everything was perfect. Several very interesting items on the menu. Also, the service was great and everyone was very friendly. We will be going back soon."

  • "The Bottle in my new favorite restaurant and my last visit was consistently outstanding. It is always great to see Chef Andy and sample something special he has prepared just for that evening. I wish I could eat here every night. Can't wait to go there for lunch."

  • " I called a business customer from Huntsville who recommended this restaurant; overall a nice experience and the food was good. Also for those who care, the portions are HUGE! Usually when you go to a "nicer" restaurant, the portions are small to middle which are fine for me but I found the meals to be very large. I had the lamb which was wonderful and cooked to order, the presentation could have been better but the taste was good. My associates got the NY strip which again was large, probably around the 18oz range with a load of sides. Overall a good place. "

  • "We had a group of 5 celebrating a birthday. Four of us had dined here before and loved everything. The birthday girl was here for the first time and said she will certainly come back and often. We had a wonderful time, food and wine. Matt was our server and was very knowledgeable regarding our food and wine choices. He was very attentive but not overbearing. Our food and the wine choices were excellent. We all agreed this is the best restaurant in Huntsville for dining out with a perfect atmosphere."

  • "The food and service were both very good. We enjoyed our visit very much."

  • "We had a great experience from the service to food. My steak was prepared to perfection and the portion was huge for the amount of money. I will recommend to my friends and will experience again."

  • "Four of us had dinner on a Friday night. Everything was excellent, except for one entree, which was not bad but not quite up to par. The person who had that meal chose not to ask for it to be redone, but after telling the waiter we were not charged for that entree. I had the best duck dish I have ever eaten - a mixture of breast cooked to perfection, sausage, and crispy leg & thigh with risotto and asparagus. Absolutely delicious. I am still thinking about that meal."

  • "Getting reservation was not a problem. May be because it was Wednesday. This was our second visit. Service was excellent. Server and Chef were very open and welcoming of our request for Vegetarian food. We told them what we like and what we do not like. Chef prepared very delicious Vegetarian food for me and my wife whose birthday we were celebrating. Our friends also had very good experience with their food too. Excellent dessert with Happy Birthday message and candle too."

  • "Service was excellent, adjusted to pace. Not in a hurry but was ready to move accordingly. Server went with the flow and allowed the moment to happen. Food was outstanding, pricy but worth it and did not dissappoint."

  • "The kitchen was firing on all cylinders Saturday night-- composition, balance of flavors, perfect cooking technique, notably fish; and great service by Josh."

  • "My sisters from Atlanta and I really enjoyed our meal here at the restaurant that had delicious food (especially the appetizers of mussels and shrimp). Service was efficient and very pleasant. They commented on how nice it was to see the chef in the restaurant. The only negative (and kind of a big one) was the smoking in the bar that made it difficult to even stand in the hostess section. We felt bad for the folks standing there, even though there was an air purifier there. It was also discouraging that this meant that we wanted to sit as far from the window & door as we could get because I love the bay windows there."

  • "Best crab cakes ever! The fried okra salad is amazing and grouper was delicious. Very unique and tasty desserts as well!"

  • "Second I e here and the sequal did not disappoint. The filet was cooked to perfection. The cheese sampler was a delightful explosion of flavor in each mouthful."

  • "Overall my husband and I were satisfied with the food and the decor. It was VERY busy in the dining room and so a bit noisy, BUT! it was a Friday night and a beautiful spring evening so I am not surprised at how busy they were. I had the duck and elk sausage and it was so good. The only negative for me about my meal was the rice that wasn't completely cooked and a bit bland. The asparagus was decent. My husband had the salmon and he LOVED it. The slaw made the meal for him. Our desserts consisted of Chocolate, Peanut Butter Jelly Time!, and we got a orange creme brulee. The last being both our favorites. The wine list was extensive, and had a great range in pricing depending on how much a person is looking to spend. We will be back."

  • "We had a great evening at the Bottle. The food was terrific and the wait staff was superb. I highly recommend the scallops, and you must save room for the bread pudding."

  • "Great food. We felt like the server while very nice, was not very attentive. Alcohol was too expensive plain and simple. The cocktails we got were nothing special for $12 a piece. I also had a beer that was $10! I wouldn't have ordered the beer had I known it was $10. Oh well, good food. We will be back."

  • "We hosted 3 business dinners at The Bottle this week for out of town business guests. We already knew The Bottle was the best in Huntsville. Our business associates commented that our meal was as good as anything they had eaten in New York, Washington DC, Los Angeles...... Huntsville is lucky to have a restaurant as great a s The Bottle."

  • "Beautiful decor and seating. Server was pretentious and haughty. The actual service was good it was more his attitude. The crabcake was good and the succatash was a good bed although green pepper was a little heavy. I had the pan seared grouper. The sauce was too etoufee sauce was too salty which spoiled what was a lovely fish. However my wife ordered the twin pork chops. Oh my. They were perfectly grilled and were superb. We both love pork and I would say these pork chops were perhaps the best we ever had. We found room for a mediocre bread pudding (me) and an outstanding almond cheesecake with Cabernet sorbet (my wife) Overall the place was good. Obviously my wife chose wisely. About $160 with tip."

  • "Given the size of Huntsville, understand the restaurant scene is limited so it is great to find a selection of fine dining establishments to choose from. Service: Very good, warm, friendly, attentive Food: Nouveau Cuisine, good menu, decent variety Presentation well done however, food was surprisingly just "fair." Seafood very salty. Husband's NY Strip, while cooked perfectly medium, contained abundant silver gray grizzle. An upscale restaurant should know better. Portions were decent. To be fair, husband took clients here week before, had rabbit which he said was very good. While I was not enthused about the food overall, this was my first experience here. Given the service, atmosphere, menu variety, I will give it another try."

  • "You can always count on having a fabulous meal at The Bottle! My husband and I celebrated Valentine's dinner there. I had the filet with Parmesan risotto and brussel sprout hash. So good. My husband had the New York stripe and he cleaned his plate. Kevin is our favorite waiter. He is perfectly attentive and so knowledgeable about food and wine."

  • "I made my reservation early for two. Four of our friends asked to be included so the reservation was changed to six. I was told the table would be ready. I must admit I expected to be on the first floor. I was disappointed to have to go to the second floor. The room vibrated all through the meal. But I assume that's the price paid for changing the reservation. Our waiter wasn't as friendly as I expected but he was good."
