The bottle lived up to expectations. The crab cake was delicious and smelled extremely fresh. As this is what they pride themselves sin because they butcher all the meat onsite and is cut daily. My girlfriend and I split the 36 oz bone in ribeye and they sliced it when it was brought out to the table. It was deeellliiicccious. One of the most tender and best tasting steaks I have ever had. Highly recommend for a special occasion.

The Bottle should be your choice if you expect excellence in ambiance, food, and service. It is one special place for a great evening and dinner with family, a special someone, or a group of friends. Grab a glass of wine in the quaint bar with a friend and catch up. Either way--this is a fine place to go, conveniently located in beautiful downtown Huntsville.

The Bottle was good but not as good as my expectations. I read reviews of The Bottle and even their menu for several weeks before I was in town to give it a try and while it was good food it wasn't quite to the caliber I was expecting. Great staff and even the chef came out several times to converse with us. I would try it again. Duck was great but the rabbit wasn't quite on point. Deserts were great but over use of cinnamon of which im not a fan. Overall 4 1/2 stars across the board.

I took some business colleagues from out of town for dinner and they were impressed. The steaks and fish are incredible! Their 34 oz bone-in Rib Eye (Cowboy steak) is one of the best you will ever have. It is vacuum sealed and cooked in a water bath of 12 hours at 129 degrees then it is seared for 4 minutes. It is so tender and incredible flavor. It is also very large but you can share or take home. Their desserts are very good as well!

We always know we will receive a very fine dining experience while at The Bottle. Chef Andy is truly an artist who loves his work and does it with excellence. He is also very adept at accomplishing magic as he adapts the menu towards the needs of the Gluten Free. The staff is always friendly, knowledgeable, non-intrusive and professional. We have also enjoyed the atmosphere, as The Bottle is one of the few restaurants where the patrons can actually have a gourmet meal and not need to shout at their dinner companions in order to be heard over the music or restaurant din.

Our first visit for a special occasion. We enjoyed the filet and grouper, beautifully prepared, appealing presentation. Attentive service, but not annoying. Quiet atmosphere, great conversation, until a young couple walked in to meet other guest. We finished the evening with the pecan pie and this amazing French press coffee, sorry no Expresso here. A bit pricey, but we'd like to return to try other specialties prepared by the Chef.

  • Kitchen and Service problem
    OpenTable Diner Since 2014

We waited almost 30 minutes for our entrees. They brought my wife's steak out first and told us to get started on this and my dish would be out shortly. Her food was cold and we waited almost 5 more minutes and my dish still did not come out. We complained to our server about the cold food and she took it back to the kitchen. The manager came out and offered to buy us a round of drinks which we appreciated and accepted. Our food them came out together. My salmon was very good and hot but the steak entree was just repackaged and not cooked as ordered. You would think the prices in this restaurant would warrant better service or an explanation for the delays. Bad experience for fine dining.

I took my parents here for their 37th wedding anniversary. I had been wanting to try this place for a while since it is French fusion. I would have liked more classic French options, but the food was very delicious, especially the Bacon Steak Trio (appetizer). The dessert was a little small, but the dinner portions are large so we really did not have much room left anyways! I would highly recommend this place for special occasions, since it is on the pricier side.

We were first seated in the bar, which was EXTREMELY loud. It was a Friday at 7pm, so a little energy is expected, but there were literally times when we couldn't hear each other talking from across the small table. We requested a move which they accommodated after a small wait, which is understandable. Due to the seat change, there was a slight delay in getting our server (again, understandable), but after that, he was excellent. My wife had the filet and I had the red snapper. Both were ok, but nothing I'd rave about. The tomato salad and fried oysters (appetizers) were excellent. Overall, it wasn't bad, but I'd say you could have a comparable (if not better?) meal at Connors or Bonefish for 30% less.

Interesting and varied menu which is a sampling of the American South. Heirloom tomatoes and fried okra and wilted slaw were great. Unfortunately all of the entrees were overcooked. Ordered pork medium and it was well done. Result was that a great cut of pork was tough and dry. The Wahoo, which is a very firm fish to start, was so dry it was hard to cut with a knife. The sauces and sides were really good, so I still have high hopes for the Bottle. The chocolate dessert and the bread pudding were fabulous. Service was very good.

This was restaurant week with a special menu of a peach salad, scallops with asparagus and mushroom confit, and bread pudding with rum sauce and whipped cream. Everything was absolutely delicious. The restaurant week menu was not presented to us. We had to ask for it. Even for a top rated restaurant, menu prices were high for this area. Entrees were mostly low 30's to 40's. Prices were lower on our recent vacation in the Berkshires at comparable restaurants.

As always, Chef Andy performed beautifully. Being from Miami, I tend to be a 'fish snob', but The Bottle never disappoints. He prepares fish perfectly. My husband loves the Duroc Pork Chop, and there is not much that can beat the heirloom tomato salad with whole pod fried okra. So glad to have this special place in our neighborhood.
