The menu choices were enticing and the foods we chose were all good. I really enjoyed the scallop ceviche. The service, while good, could have been better. The system of having a dessert display for the dessert menu didn't work too well. It seemed as if there was only one display tray and our server couldn't seem to get it into her hands. After we ordered the desserts, which were tasty and just the right size to finish off the meal, it took over half an hour to deliver them to the table. Many of the individuals were from out of town and had never been to the restaurant.
From the service to the food, everything was fantastic. It was a beautiful evening, so we were able to enjoy a gorgeous sunset from the inside dining room because we were sitting at a table by full glass doors that opened to a patio.

Weather allowed for us to sit outside close to the lake. The scenery was gorgeous, as the sunset before our eyes. The food was phenomenal, and as always, Kera our server provided an exceptional attitude and service.

Because we were outside, the noise level was moderate. The waiter was very knowledgeable of all the items on the menu as well as the restaurants history.
He was very attentive, served the food hot and did not make us feel rushed.
The food was good, well prepared and I said before served hot. There were quite a few other large groups dining on Tuesday evening as well- it looks to be busy on most nights. The main reason we decided to go to the Boathouse is because we are able to make reservations on Open Table. Most restaurants in our area do not participate and it's so much easier to just click on my phone than call, etc. We plan to return next Saturday evening as well to celebrate our anniversary. The service was ok, the waitress was slow and the only specification I had made for my food was to have my dressing on the side which of course it did not come that way. We had a family get together at Sunday Park; the service was first class and very attentive as usual. Our assigned table was in the direct sun - this was an issue of one in our party so they worked hard to find us another table in a shade area even though they were busy.
The fried shrimp is one of my favorite but I have been disappointed twice at Sunday Park. The friend shrimp at Rockets Landing is superb. The batter is tasty, crispy and golden brown. At Sunday Park the batter is tasteless, mushy and often falling off the shrimp.

Our only complaints - first, we had reservations through open table. A hostess called to talk to me about the reservations before hand & asked about outside seating. I wanted outside seating (and we got it), but the table we got was terrible with respect to the sun - there were many other tables available (not filled the entire time we were there - and the same 4-top size we were at) where the sun was not directly in the face of at least one of the diners. Second, our waiter became much less interested when it was time to pay the bill. The shooters are over stated, the tiramisu was not even close no flavor lady fingers were dry no liqueur at all, not sure about the nuts that were in it but have not had nuts in one before. and almost no hint of expresso
