It was roomy and comfortable. The atmosphere was excellent, a semi-cool spring evening overlooking Swift Creek Resevoir. The service was first rate...attentive, polite and personable. The food was excellent with many choices sure to satisfy the pickiest of eaters and the most stringent dieters. Our only complaints - first, we had reservations through open table. A hostess called to talk to me about the reservations before hand & asked about outside seating. I wanted outside seating (and we got it), but the table we got was terrible with respect to the sun - there were many other tables available (not filled the entire time we were there - and the same 4-top size we were at) where the sun was not directly in the face of at least one of the diners. Second, our waiter became much less interested when it was time to pay the bill. The Fish Taco appetizer was a good size portion and so fresh and flavorful...perfect for sharing! We celebrated our daughter's 34th birthday over a wonderful bottle of wine (suggested by the bartender)...the evening was delightful! We were able to get a reservation for outdoor dining; peaceful setting overlooking the lake watching sailboats float by in the distance. Waitress was very attentive and pleasant; we had shrimp cocktail done two ways as an appetizer; great seafood menu as well as options for the beef lovers; crab cakes are all crab meat - very generous serving. I think on beautiful days, the staff can get overwhelmed by the crowds. We dined on a gorgeous day, but we had very good service and the food was terrific. The shooters are over stated, the tiramisu was not even close no flavor lady fingers were dry no liqueur at all, not sure about the nuts that were in it but have not had nuts in one before. and almost no hint of expresso
balsic glaze strawbeery short cake was nothing more then a very minor amount of balsamic vinegar drizzled on top

The place was renovated and rejuvenated, and renamed to join its same name partner on the opposite side of Richmond. I personally wish they had kept Cajun chicken salad on the menu for old times sake,it was the best!
