Now we have found that their Mother's Day brunch is also exceptional. Not the ordinary overcooked, dry assortment of ho-hum food you find at many buffets, this one was prepared with great care and expertise. Crab cakes full of crabmeat, delicious shrimp and grits, smoked salmon, roast beef, chicken...everything was excellent. Complimented by wonderful mimosas and chocolate cake for dessert, the meal was worth every penny (except to spend a few bucks on this one).

Pros: Beautiful scenery overlooking the James river, great service, excellent food, very romantic location for outdoor dining, extensive wine selection
Cons: Parking was scarce, the lots were far away and valet service is $7, food was a little pricey and limited to mostly seafood items, but worth it for the ambience, seemed very noisy indoors, so if you are looking for a quiet romantic experience outdoors is the best option

Of note, this location was much better than the Sunday Park location (which we tried a couple of days later).
