The Boathouse at Kits BeachWe went because of the AtlanticWe went because of the Atlantic Lobster special. We were not disappointed with the lobster but my husband was not happy with the chowder. He told the waitress (Chelsea) that it was so watery, it was tasteless. She asked if she could replace it with the lobster bisque. She did and it was great. She provided impecable service. Other people though have to drive to it. I suspect many people in the neighbourhood walked to the Boathouse on English Bay. Upon arriving at out reservation time, we were greeted by friendly staff and promptly brought to our table which was right by the window. My hot food was a little cold as I think the turnover was not as fast as could have been. Was really impressed with cold seafood table. Staff very friendly and warm. Was pleasantly surprised by the extensive affordable well rounded wine list. Kudos to whoever revamped it (last time at a Boathouse was White Rock over a year ago).
