Food was good, service was great but we felt "ripped off" by charging us a tip based on the "full value" of what they thought the meal should be priced at not what we had paid for it. Unheard of and left a proverbial bad taste in our mouthes.

My husband and I went for his birthday. Table great, food great, service great, piano player right behind us 3/4's into the meal made it hard to hear each other, but we scooted closer. When they brought his birthday dessert the piano player broke from his normal song and played A couple of bars of "Happy Birthday to you" then slipped back into the regular song without a hitch

I was very excited to try this restaurant, expecting a Four Seasons experience. The food was not Four Seasons worthy. I found the food mediocre and certainly not worth "$250" for $99. You get what you pay for here in that you really paid $99 for $99 worth of food. I'd also skip this place if you want a "deal." On the brighter side, the ambiance was romantic and the staff was very courteous, which is what you expect for a Four Seasons restaurant.

The Blvd at the Beverly Wilshire is simply exquisite! From the moment you walk in, the attention to detail is apparent. We were dining to celebrate a special occasion and one guest had a small service dog. The pup was treated royally as well. Dinner was awesome as it was a 5 course chef tasting menu. From the hostess to the waiter to the manager, everyone was at the top if their game. They attended to our every need. I live this place so much! I must say, if you have a small well behaved dog, they would love it too. They get their own water dish and the Blvd has a special place for the pup to relax on the patio that is perfect! Thank you Blvd!

Dined here for lunch with my 3 children - as a special treat to myself during our holiday. This was a highlight of our holiday. The children were made to feel very welcome. The younger 2 made choices off the kids menu; chicken tenders and a hot dog - good portion sizes and they said it was yummy. Older son had the New York Steak and I had the Seafood Pasta - both delicious! Sitting back enjoying the view of Rodeo Drive with a leisurely lunch was fabulous. I highly recommend this restaurant and don't let having to take children with put you off. Thank you for a great experience:)

The food wasn't great, but I already knew this. I only go here for the ambiance and their impeccable service....but what the hell happened to their service? Horrible!!! The aggressive waiter was ticked off when we didn't want champagne with our business lunch for God's sake! Then he said, let me bring out a little something like tomato soup for everyone. He made it sound like it was going to be "chef's complimentary," so we all said OK. Then he charged us (or rather me, since I was paying) $15 per soup!!! The only good thing was talking to the manager about the whole thing, and she graciously refunded the soup portion which was about $60. What happened to this iconic restaurant? I used to go there for "class," but not anymore!!

I have eaten here inside the main dining room but this time I requested outside on the front patio. As soon as we arrived they had our table ready for us & the service was very attentive. The food arrived literally 10 minutes after we ordered. It was very quick, yet very high end gourmet. You have a lovely view of Rodeo Drive & are on display on the patio. This is a very chic restaurant in a very chic hotel. While we are not celebrities, we were promptly seated for our lunch reservation. The first table faced the kitchen doors, and upon request we were moved. This is not an inexpensive restaurant but it was a dear friends' 80th birthday. The menu selections were interesting without being mysterious. The wait staff was available at all times and knowledgeable about the menu. We all had salmon that was prepared magnificiently with a side of unusally wonderful cous cous. I had a wonderful rose with my meal and we shared some of their scrmptious ice cream dessert. For not a lot more than many lesser restaurants, it was well worth it.

The food and service was wonderful. The only thing that shocked me was the $10 orange juice. Right as we sat down the server was right there and asked if we wanted juice. I went here with my girlfriends to celebrate my birthday. I picked this place because of it's iconic Hollywood image and the classic pretty woman movie. We were running late and I called to let them know. When we arrived there was no wait and they seated us right away with a great view of Rodeo drive. The place and service didn't disappoint us. Food was good. Service was great. They made me feel special as the birthday girl. Love the complimentary dessert. The only let down was the choice of iced tea. They only had lipton tea. I was expecting more for a five star four seasons. For first time guests, we were all happy with our experience and will definitely come back.

We have eaten at The BLVD. before and can be great. This time the music was bad DJ music, mostly loud electronics, apparently every Thursday. You may want to skip Thursdays. First time had a trio (only Friday & Saturdays) that plays popular and classic standards. Not too loud for conversation, yet enjoyable music. The service is excellent, even when busy. Food paring interesting. Excellent desserts1

With few people in the restarant on a Monday during the lunch hour, our service could not have been worse. We waited a LONG time for our meal and there were only two of us. When the meal came they brought the first course and the entree together and then we never saw a waiter again. The food was okay...not much more. I have had lovely experiences here before but this was bad enough to be sad.

We had brunch last Sunday at he BLVD. We had a great table near the window as requested. However, the food and service has changed. The food is dull and lack luster. The old menu was much better. Where is the eggs benedict? Nice selection of bread. Lobster at brunch? The clean tasting food is gone. The traditional stuff is gone. The service staff was slow to respond. The food took almost an hour to come!!!!! Still good for drinks though. Would think twice now going back. I have been going to the Blvd. and its previous editions for years.

Service was good but the food was nothing impressive and overpriced. Outside of their Tartare you are paying because of their location not their quality. Did have live music which was a nice touch. Ate their on a Saturday and then card was charged again on that Tuesday after the other charge had posted for an additional $96. Spoke to two managers Benjamin and Gilliam who were no help. Acted like they would care and get right on top of it and call me back which they never did. Finally had to report it as fraud. You would think a restaurant who wants to be taken serious as an upscale restaurant would care more about their customers. Don't know what left a worse taste in my mouth the average food or the sorry excuse for management.

It's a beautiful place to dine and or have a cocktail in the afternoon with appetizers. It is also a great place to celebrate occasions. I went for dinner on St. Patrick's day to celebrate with my college friend. I was a little disappointed that they did not have as a special the usual Irish meal of corn beef and cabbage. I did have an apple martini for the green color and my dinner while not Irish, it was a delicious veal dish perfectly cooked. Our server was very patient with our order of no salt, no sugar, no sauce, no dressing on our salads. He was very professional and very pleasant. This is not the first time I dine at the BLVD. It is a great place to stop and have a drink and a meal after an afternoon of shopping.
