  • Great live music!

The weekend I was at The Blind Pig was busy in a good, energetic way! The food was very good: had the French fries and the cheese plate, along with a bottle of excellent half-priced wine (It was Wine Wednesday!). The wait person was friendly and checked with us frequently, but didn't have much if any knowledge about the wines on their list. (They didn't have any of the wines offered on their half-price bottle list for us to taste first, which made for a scary order!) There was live music that evening, as well, that started at 7:30. The musician was excellent! His name was Joe Findley. Both he and The Blind Pig are gems that probably won't stay hidden for long! So glad to have a place like this to go that isn't 45 minutes away!

  • didn't actually get to eat!

Very excited to get reservations Sunday evening at the Blind Pig which is so highly touted. No menu was available online or in open table. Should have been a red flag. Drove way out of our way to get there only to find they "don't actually serve dinner on Sunday". They are "experimenting with a few small bar type items." That didn't work for us at all. We had been so hoping for a culinary experience. What a huge disappointment and what an enormous inconvenience for us as we are not from the area and didn't know where else to go. I give them a thumbs down for not advising either online or WHEN THEY CALLED TO CONFIRM THE RESERVATION! I've had other restaurants give me a heads up when they had a major menu change.

  • Not worth our drive
    Dined on 6/27/2014
Overall we had a nice experience, but the one entree we first ordered to share was such a disappointment that we didn't enjoy our overall experience. The drinks were good, the honey siracha mayo that came with the fries was nice, and the Mac and Cherve was nice and creamy with great flavor. What killed our experience was the Pork Belly entree. The only part of the dish that was tasty was the Kimchee ramps. The crispy pork belly had no flavor at all. It was like they forgot to season anything on the plate. for the money we spent it just wasn't worth our drive.
