  • "We went here for Easter brunch. The food was great and the service was good."

  • "My husband was unhappy with his steak dinner but I thought my fish dinner was good. I guess it depends on what you order."

  • "We had reservations for Blind Fig, and it is recommended, we ate on an 'off' slow night, but the waitress said they are usually packed on the weekend. Food was awesome! I loved the Blue Pear Salad and the homemade Gnocchi was one of the best I've had! My husband loved the Crab Mac and Cheese. Cheese plate wasn't really anything special, and the Moonshine Mojito wasn't all that either. However, the drink with the fig infused bourbon was really tasty and unique! Beyond the food, the atmosphere and service were great!"

  • "We had such a experience here. Trendy decor, great food, wine & cocktails and our server was spot on. Can't wait to go again"

  • "Although we asked for a quiet table we were seated in the bar or loudest section. Not sure the staff is all onboard. The food quality was good but was not delivered timely and was almost cold when served. Hope they get it together soon would be ashame to see the restaurant unsuccessful."

  • "Went here for a anniversary dinner. Waitress was super nice and attentive. Both of our entrees were delicious. The only think we didn't like was the blue cheese chips app. She said they were baked in house but they tasted days old and stale. The cheese and topping was scarce and barely covered the top layer. After that layer, greasy stale chips."

  • "Before the JAX opening of The Grand Budapest Hotel at Sun-Ray (another JAX Gem!) we went to TBF for a great meal. Started with excellent drinks at bar - perfect Hendricks G&T and a Bacon/Bourbon cocktail that were perfect kickoffs for evening. Bartender was knowledgeable and skilled mixologist. For dinner, we split the blue pear salad followed by enjoyed the shrimp po-boy (better than average but not exceptional) and the Lemon Thyme crusted fish (mahi) which was delicious. We followed with the cast iron chocolate brownie (but I wish I'd gone for the bread pudding). Service was excellent at both the bar and the table."

  • "Had a two day meeting, and was looking for a great place to go. Had heard a lot about this restaurant, menu looked interesting, and decided to take a fairly large party here (11 of us). Cocktails were excellent and pretty varied. While I stuck with the basic martini, others explored the menu. Spicy Watermelon and a concoction that was like a sweet manhattan with Bacon (!) in it were the favorites. The menu isn't so big that you are going to get lost in it. About 6 salads, 10 apps, 10 main dishes, yet there were 5 specials plus a Vegan special menu served that evening. Will come back...all really enjoyed."

  • "So far, it seems that not many people have discovered this place... The food is eclectic and tasty. Definitely have to just leap and adventure into what the menu offers. The combinations they have created are fantastic and the portions are perfect."

  • "I wanted to take my wife out for a romantic evening, but not at the usual spots. My oldest daughter recommended the Blind Fig and we were pleased with the food, the service and the ambiance. We split the pear salad and our server brought it to us on two plates. We both ate Mahi but served two different ways and both were delicious. The noise level was low and we could enjoy our conversation. It was a great evening and we will definitely be back."

  • "Service was OUTSTANDING! Her recommendation of the lemon thyme mahi mahi was dead on and I don't typically enjoy fish. I wish I knew our server's name off the top of my head because she was top-knotch. (Light brown hair on Sunday, 03/09 around 5:45.) Fig infused Manhattan and the bread pudding were amazing as well. I enjoy dining here each time."

  • "I met some friends for dinner. We enjoyed some unique and refreshing cocktails and then shared several appetizers. The mushroom gnocci was amazing! Prices were reasonable and the restaurant had lots of seating. I hope there was more than one restroom though. The one I saw was for one person only. As large as the restaurant was, this could be a problem."

  • "My sister-in-law suggested we check it out. What a great find! Atmosphere was fun, service was gold-standard! The food prep was really entertaining. The food itself was not our normal food choices, but we found some tasty dishes! Fun night out indeed!!"

  • "Blind Fig has a lot on the menu to appeal to anyone! Been there more than once and would go back again. The only con I can think of is it is hard to find parking on the weekends"

  • "We like to try new places, and went here on our anniversary. Fantastic ambience. Romantic, nice looking place with friendly staff. We went on a slow night so the noise level was really low. The food was very tasty (we tried the Gorgonzola chips after reading other reviewers and were not disappointed). Happily, the entrees were not the same boring stuff elsewhere and were delicious. Glad to see King St. neighborhood doing well too. Recommended!"

  • "I booked over 2 weeks in advance knowing it was Valentine's day. When we arrived we were seated at a wobbly table across from the bathroom. We spoke up and our waitress quickly moved us to a better table.Thank you Kelly!I started with the watermelon margarita and was not disappointed. Not too sweet with a hint of heat.We ordered the oysters and fell in love with the accompanying Thai hot sauce. We ordered the blackened scallops/shrimp with butternut risotto and the flat iron steak. The risotto was creamy and flavorful and the scallops were nicely spicy. The shrimp were underwhelming.Small and over cooked. The steak was ordered MR and it was more medium.Pink center not red.Kelly took good care of us on one of the busiest night of the year."

  • "I have been wanting to try the Blind Fig and I am so happy we did. We went on Valentine’s day prior to a show downtown and it was flawless from start to finish. They called the day before to confirm our reservation and we got a great little rounded booth table for two in the corner. The food was fantastic as well as our server who was very helpful. The atmosphere was vibrant with good acoustics so we could still enjoy dinner and carry on a conversation without screaming at each other with is key for a romantic dinner. I would go back or recommend the Blind Fig for any occasion for sure because it has a great mix of fun bar and nice dining depending on your occasion or mood."

  • "This could be a great place...but the service is horrible and the food is inconsistent. They brought out out beers in bottles but had not one chilled mug? The taste of the dishes change everytime I've tried a bite. The servers never come back to the table and when they do it's to say your food will be out in about 5 minutes and an hour later your food...the owner and chef need to get a handle on things! They still have a chance to turn this place into the gem in riverside that it could be! When you have half your resteraunt open and available to seat with no wait time on valentines day...means you need to take a look around and figure out what's going wrong... -concerned foodie"

  • "I made a reservation for Valentine's Day, and ended up calling them because we were running 30 minutes late. They were super accommodating, and we were immediately seated when we arrived! Service was good considering how busy it was. Food came out quickly and was perfectly cooked. I made a special request for dessert and they were very nice about it. I highly recommend this place for a special occasion! I'll definitely be back."

  • "First time visit. Enjoy causal sister resturant at the beach Blind Rabit. Expecting a special Experience. 2 kale salids, 2fish tacos dinners w side, and 2 drinks - $59. Taco Lu would Have. Came in around $40 for the same comparable entres. The fish tacos were not as tasty. They were the cheapest thing on the menu. More expensive entres, steak/fish were priced Comparable to Mattews pricing with not near the match to quality. Seating next to the bathroom Did not Help the experience either with a constant line of users standing next to our table all night. Really hoped it was going to be special for quests and ourselves that traveled from the beach."

  • "We visted Blind Fig (fka Salty Fig) while back in Jacksonville. It is one of our favorites and the food and wait staff did not disappoint. Everything is very fresh and our waitress (Amy I think) was very attendant. We were disappointed in the attitude of the head hostess who really does need a lesson in how to greet and attend to customers. The attitude she brought was appalling and entirely inappropriate for a southern market like Jacksonville. Apart from her we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves."

  • "Have been to this restaurant several times, never disappointed. Love the creativity of the menu - Food is always good, high quality, prepared and presented well. Particularly enjoyed the Pork Chop with rice and beans and love every fish dish. Enjoy the vibe. Attentive service - especially noticed that even the bus staff pays close attention to your needs. Great list of local beers - but good wine list, too. Really enjoy this place - great for brunch, as well - and before theatre, symphony, etc."

  • "Have had some extraordinary dishes there....from appetizers they desserts. Strangely, however, majority of occasions I've eaten there involved main courses being delivered well prior to finishing appetizers.... This has happened during each of last 3-4 visits, whether location was crowded or not... Should be easy to remedy this... Nevertheless, interesting menu selections, and the specials are always worth trying. Pleasant ambience, and the beer and wine offerings are comprehensive enough for anyone's taste. Look forward to going back soon."

  • "I love to try different restaurants throughout the city especially the Riverside area. I was drawn here because of the large mural on the side of the building. I am so happy we dined here and upset that this was my first time! The food eas fresh and fantastic. Drinks were superb. I love the atmosphere and the staff were attentive and very friendly. I look forward to dining here on numerous occasions."

  • "Not sure that I need to say again how much I love this place, but doing so anyway. I tried new dishes this time, the Cochon de Lait and the bread pudding, and they did not disappoint. This is one of those restaurants where I love what I'd had before, and hesitated to try something new. But so good, again. My son wanted something light, so had the heirloom tomato salad. My daughter loved the Lemon Thyme Crusted Fish that she had it again. Everything we have ever had here was fantastic, and the service and ambience are top notch. Blind Fig adds a lot to the unexpected allure of the King Street area. If you haven't tried it . . . you should."

  • "Blind Fig was fun and interesting for a pre concert dinner on New Years Eve. Interesting food, good service and lots of energy."
    Dined on 12/31/2013
  • "A group of four of us dined here for New Years Eve. We loved the appetizers (edamame and blue cheese chips), two of us had the Rib Eye (1 medium-rare, 1 medium - both dry, chewy, and lacked flavor). One of us had the pork chop (again dry and boring), the other had filet & lobster and said it was fine. The service was nice and friendly and everything was timely. I love the look of the place and overall, I've had good experiences here...but the food lacked this time. It was great to see they've expanded the menu - it was small for way too long. I hope to write a better review next time!"
