A word from The Bleecker Street
Inspired by the sights and sounds of Greenwich Village, THE BLEECKER STREET brings a little taste of lower Manhattan to Southern California. The interior is "Village Fun" with influences from SOHO, Little Italy and the warehouse district. Imagine the feeling of sitting between two vintage buildings at Barollo in SOHO,or the new meets old open industrial feeling of Peasant in NOLITA(North Little Italy), or the comfortable refined feel of Gemma's candles and dark woods in the Bowery. Bleecker Street is every bit and more.
Dress is urban casual with servers taking your order on a bent knee or sitting at an open seat. When you come to Bleecker Street, you're not coming to a restaurant you're coming to our home. We want to be the 1st place you think about when you say " I need to relax"

It was our second time there, but this time we had reservations at 8:30. They tell us kitchen closes at 9, they rush us to order. Food is great so we are having a nice time them hostess comes at 10:28 and politely kicks out out?!?! Along w the other 2 tables. They close at 10:30 per city ordinance. Why wouldn't you tell me when I made the reservations?? We would've went elsewhere that's why! Why create sucha nice bar area and wine/drink list?!? Food is great, so go for happy hour I guess. We won't go back, it ruined our evening honestly, so rude!

Food could have been better. All of it was okay to good, but also too far from great. Should review the recipes & execution of the kitchen, especially given the price point. We really wanted to like it more, but the food kept us from that point...

The food was pretty good except for my crepe brûlée which was over torched which made it come out like soup. The wait for our food was considerable and they ran out of halibut which is what both me and my girlfriend wanted. They also put her birthday candle in my dessert instead of hers. I probably won't be back. A shame because it seems like it has great potential.

  • Nice lunch choice

Lunch menu is extensive with great choices. Three people, three different choices and we were all pleased. Barbque chicken salad, Thai steak salad, roasted veggie sandwich. Good portion size. . Iced tea was disappointing, very watered down. Great decor. Next time ordering pizza. When we saw it at other tables when leaving we wanted to eat again. The pizzas are huge and on one table each guest had their own. Down side is only that the waitresses dress very poorly and look sloppy. They are good at their job, they just need to look as nice as the restaurant

We are going to remember our previous dinner at this restaurant and think more about our next. This weeks visit was not successful or satisfying. Slow, ignoring service and a very lousy chopped salad. What happened to the dressing? Had to ask for it separately. What happened to the lettuces in the salad? What, you can't leave out the onions as requested? Oh well, we'll try again because of it's convenience for our dining friends! th.

We've been to this restaurant many times - with the old owners and now with the new owners. The new owners know what they're doing and I hope they keep up the good work! Cocktails are wonderful and generous and the bartenders are super! My husband and I split the truffle fries and the chopped salad (which they made even better!) as starters. Both great! My husband had the filet mignon special and I had their Paella special. Both were delicious and presented beautifully. Our waiter was attentive and knowledgeable. We'll definitely be back!

We went to Bleeker Street for a casual dinner with 4 friends. We ordered 2 pizzas for appetizers and they were delicious and larger than expected. They have a very thin crust with fresh toppings. I ordered a hamburger for my main dish and could not even eat half because I was full from the pizzas that I could not stop eating. I will definitely go back for pizza and salad next time!! The ambiance is very welcoming and not too noisy !!! I definitely recommend Bleeker Street!!.

I love Bleecker Street. They have tasty food that is fresh, and when possible local. They have a smaller menu, which I love because I think it means they are less distracted and can concentrate on good food and what they know best. Suggestions: Burger, Salmon, Calamari, and ANY pizza.

The food and service were superb. We dine at Bleeker Street regularly. The only criticism I have, is that the hostess (1) neglected to read the request for a special table and birthday cake. Thus no birthday cake was offered. (2) The hostess is extremely arrogant and should not be working in a friendly neighborhood and special occasion restaurant as Bleeker Street.

I've been wanting to try Bleecker Street for a while and I decided to go with a couple of friends during Restaurant Week. What a find! The ambiance is really warm and inviting. I walked in and found the decor really appealing with lots of dark woods and comfy seating. There's also a raised communal table and a really neat loft with lots of seating. But the food was the star of the show. Since there were 3 of us dining, we decided to order 3 different entrees so we could share and taste more of the offerings. That was a great idea and worked out very well. We tried 2 different salads, the Farmers Market Chopped Salad and the Chicken Paillard Salad. We also ordered the Grilled Vegetable Sandwich. All were beautifully prepared.

We love dining at Bleekers. The food is always beyond tasty, and they carry our favorite wine, that you can only get there or from the winery in Napa. The food is a different blend, and always yummy. Best burger in town, hands down, and I love both the sweet potato fries and the truffle fries. I can't decide which one is better, since they are both sooo good. The Oreo mousse Dessert is to die for. If you haven't been there yet, then you really need to give them a try. The pizzas are wonderful as well. This place is very cozy and quaint. Not for young kids, its an adult style dining. But, older mature kids are fine there.

Went with another couple. Enjoyed the selection of different martinis. I had the basil lemontini, which was nice and refreshing, while my friend had a mint julep that she really enjoyed. They also had a fairly nice selection of beers, which they do not advertise. We started with the mac and cheese and the goat cheese appetizers. The mac and cheese was okay; it needed salt and wasn't as cheesy as I would like. The goat cheese app was delicious: the sauce the goat cheese came in was rich and thick, and we asked for bread so we could mop it all up. The halibut was delicious...the mustard sauce was yummy, and the fish was fresh. The burgers were cooked perfectly and nice and juicy. We will be back!

We went there last week for my birthday. It was 6 of us girls and service was okay. Seemed like they only had one waiter which made it difficult to ask for anything cause it seemed like he was overwhelmed. They changed the menu. The old menu was a lot better so that was a turn off. They also forgot 2 ingredients in my salad and I had to ask twice for them to fix it. Was hoping they would do something for the inconvenience but unfortunately they didn't.

This was our first time back after they got a new chef and reopened for lunch. Our dinners were very good - but, not extraordinary. I had the chicken palliard salad which was very fresh and healthy tasting. My husband had the grilled salmon - very good yet very straight forward. We shared the truffle fries which are to die for. They were quite busy and the bar was hopping. I can see why...our Sapphire martinis were huge and delicious! The service was wonderful! The noise level is what it is and when they're busy, you'll have to know that it'll be loud. We will definitely be back! And, it was lovely to see them busy again. I want this place to succeed!

Visited very early on a Saturday night, so the noise level was still fairly low. A few neighborhood families who obviously walked brought their restaurant-ready children, but there were also already a few folks at the beautiful bar watching March Madness, and couples scattered about. The service was friendly, well trained and attentive. The food is a very interesting mix and beautifully prepared. Bread on request comes with butter and a delicious rough tapenade. The Ahi stack appetizer was beautiful - sushi meets French cooking. The filet was cooked perfectly to the doneness ordered in a rich, balsamic sauce with lots of well cooked veggies. Farm salad could have used a touch more dressing, but nicely presented. Interesting pizza menu
