The Bleecker StreetNY FeelThe place didn't exactly remind me of Chelsea but the food was good and the staff was nice. They had a lot of people in and out of the place and the restaurant was kept in order and looked sharp.6/4/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent all-around neighborhoodExcellent all-around neighborhood gem. Upscale. Waitstaff perfection. Food extremely good. Creative.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat for a night out with friends!Went with another couple. Enjoyed the selection of different martinis. I had the basil lemontini, which was nice and refreshing, while my friend had a mint julep that she really enjoyed. They also had a fairly nice selection of beers, which they do not advertise. We started with the mac and cheese and the goat cheese appetizers. The mac and cheese was okay; it needed salt and wasn't as cheesy as I would like. The goat cheese app was delicious: the sauce the goat cheese came in was rich and thick, and we asked for bread so we could mop it all up. The halibut was delicious...the mustard sauce was yummy, and the fish was fresh. The burgers were cooked perfectly and nice and juicy. We will be back!5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMAlways delicious! AlwaysAlways delicious! Always fun! Pizza is unbelieveably yummy. Chopped salad is healthy and refreshingly good.4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMalways good, a little loudalways good, a little loud and a great neighborhood find!4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMThey added a musician whichThey added a musician which made the atmosphere great! Food was much better this visit.4/18/2013 12:00:00 AMWe went there last week forWe went there last week for my birthday. It was 6 of us girls and service was okay. Seemed like they only had one waiter which made it difficult to ask for anything cause it seemed like he was overwhelmed. They changed the menu. The old menu was a lot better so that was a turn off. They also forgot 2 ingredients in my salad and I had to ask twice for them to fix it. Was hoping they would do something for the inconvenience but unfortunately they didn't.4/17/2013 12:00:00 AMWe had an excellent experienceWe had an excellent experience at The Bleecker Street on Saturday evening. The fresh fish entree's were delicious and well presented and the dessert, their take on tiramisu, was excellent!4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMSolid dinner experienceHad the lobster grilled cheese but found it to be slightly fishy, would not get it in. Other member of the party had chicken cordon blue, which she really enjoyed. Desserts were amazing, both the peach cobbler & the bread pudding. Service was amazing, the waitress was very friendly and checked on us constantly without being pushy. Will definitely return!4/2/2013 12:00:00 AMConsistently good service. We come here often. The Mac 'n Cheese is the ultimate comfort food. Consistently good service and a good value.3/29/2013 12:00:00 AMNICE EXPERIENCE!This was our first time back after they got a new chef and reopened for lunch. Our dinners were very good - but, not extraordinary. I had the chicken palliard salad which was very fresh and healthy tasting. My husband had the grilled salmon - very good yet very straight forward. We shared the truffle fries which are to die for. They were quite busy and the bar was hopping. I can see why...our Sapphire martinis were huge and delicious! The service was wonderful! The noise level is what it is and when they're busy, you'll have to know that it'll be loud. We will definitely be back! And, it was lovely to see them busy again. I want this place to succeed!3/29/2013 12:00:00 AMA happy neighborhood findVisited very early on a Saturday night, so the noise level was still fairly low. A few neighborhood families who obviously walked brought their restaurant-ready children, but there were also already a few folks at the beautiful bar watching March Madness, and couples scattered about. The service was friendly, well trained and attentive. The food is a very interesting mix and beautifully prepared. Bread on request comes with butter and a delicious rough tapenade. The Ahi stack appetizer was beautiful - sushi meets French cooking. The filet was cooked perfectly to the doneness ordered in a rich, balsamic sauce with lots of well cooked veggies. Farm salad could have used a touch more dressing, but nicely presented. Interesting pizza menu3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Vibe...food goodThis was my first time here at The Bleeker Street. It had a great vibe to it. The food is good but I wouldn't say its anything special. I would say this is a great place to have a birthday dinner for a large party. There's an upstairs area that looks it could be used for a large group.3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMA good neighborhood placeWe come here often and enjoy the brick walls, high ceiling and like to sit upstairs, looking down on the room below. The main course chopped salad with salmon was generous in size, tasty and the salmon was excellently seasoned. My husband's house burger was delicious. He tried a new beer - accurately described by the server. Portions are generous, and the food is very well prepared.3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMThey just changed their menuThey just changed their menu and added some great choices!3/13/2013 12:00:00 AMThis was our second trip toThis was our second trip to Bleecker Street. Although still quite good, our first experience was much better. I believe that it had to do with what we ordered. Our server was incredible and attended to all of our needs. Despite our disappointment on this second trip, we will still come back. Well worthwhile.3/9/2013 12:00:00 AM
