A word from The Bleecker Street
Inspired by the sights and sounds of Greenwich Village, THE BLEECKER STREET brings a little taste of lower Manhattan to Southern California. The interior is "Village Fun" with influences from SOHO, Little Italy and the warehouse district. Imagine the feeling of sitting between two vintage buildings at Barollo in SOHO,or the new meets old open industrial feeling of Peasant in NOLITA(North Little Italy), or the comfortable refined feel of Gemma's candles and dark woods in the Bowery. Bleecker Street is every bit and more.
Dress is urban casual with servers taking your order on a bent knee or sitting at an open seat. When you come to Bleecker Street, you're not coming to a restaurant you're coming to our home. We want to be the 1st place you think about when you say " I need to relax"

  • "Our server was nice but MIA most of the time. We ordered soup which was the best part of the meal. My lettuce in my wedge salad was not cold and crisp, it was luke warm and a little wilty. My turkey burger was not good (which I think is supposed to be one of their specialties). It almost tasted like a so-so veggie patty. My husband's pizza came out luke warm, the cheese had no flavor, the sauce had no flavor and the tomatoes on top had absolutely no flavor. We probably won't go back unless we see from reviews that there was a major overhaul on the quality of their food. Too bad too, it's a cute place in a perfect location."

  • "The food and drinks were excellent, no complaints what-so-ever. I wish the same could be said for the staff. We were met, not greeted, by a hostess who gave us a "What do you want?" look on her face. We were seated immediately, and I pulled out my phone and turned on the stopwatch app. I had a feeling this was going to be interesting. A little over 7 minutes after we were seated our server Rane made his way to our table. After we placed our order we waited 16 minutes for our starters, and an additional 19 minutes for our entrées. If the place had been busy I could have maybe understood, but there were a grand total of 18 customers. The staff never smiled, almost as if they didn't want to be there. Honestly, not sure I'll return."

  • "We went for lunch on the Saturday of Memorial Day Weekend, and the place was very quiet, which was fine with us. We were seated quickly, and our server, who turned out to be the bartender, made great recommendations on our drinks and entrees. I forget the bartender's name, but he did make a yummy margarita. My ahi tuna burger, medium rare, was very good, and the side of truffle fries was even better. My friend had the whitefish, which came with mashed potatoes and veggies, and he said it was all tasty, but he'd had better. We'll be back though. "

  • "We walked in through the velvet curtains...and we waited. Waited for someone to greet us, ask us why we were there...nothing. Finally, I asked someone rushing by with some plates if we could be seated, or was there a hostess. The hostess came over and we still waited a good 10 mins before we were even seated. That's not a problem if it's busy, but there were 3 open tables. We finally get seated and no lie, it takes about 20 mins for the server to even come give us menu's. At this point my date is ready to go, but I'm saying, it can get better...right...Not at all. Food was greasy, they brought small water glasses with wine spilled in it. They turned water into wine...Took them forever to come clear the plates. Not going back, ever. "

  • "We come here frequently, to enjoy the great burgers, the delicious fish, and a terrific beer list. We appreciate the breadth of the menu. Last night my husband and I split a tuna tartare appetizer - a vertically stacked one, over a cylinder of rice. Very tasty. He went on to consume a huge, juicy, delicious hamburger, and I chowed down on an excellent piece of halibut, with a mustard crust, and delicious steamed vegetables (carrots, cauliflower, zucchini and broccoli). We enjoy being upstairs by the balcony railing and looking down on the main room. "

  • "Bleeker Street continues to impress time after time. Great service, food, beverage, etc. Has become my go-to meeting spot for catching up with friends I haven't seen in a while. The friendly and accommodating staff allows you to take your time, enjoy your meal and does not rush you to turn the table, but remains attentive with frequent trip to check on your happiness status. Kitchen is willing to adapt order to your taste (hold the mash potatoes, add more veggies) and the menu is exotic enough to make it interesting but does not sound like a lab experiment. Try the Red Velvet Cake dessert....moist, delicious and better than most!"

  • "My wife and I ate here on Saturday for a quick dinner and dined at the community high top table and ate off the happy hour bar menu. Our waitress Lara was very nice, but did not know the menu very well and constantly had to go back into the kitchen or speak to her Manager to answer our questions. The questions were very basic things that a waitress should know, such as how many buffallo wings come in each order and weather the menu listed the happy hour prices or were were the prices half off the listed price? The bread was extremely stale on the sliders we ordered, so much so that I took the sliders off the bread and ate it without bread. We have eaten here before and had a better experience, but for $70, I am not sure we will be back!"

  • "Bleecker Street has the advantage of being just off "the Boulevard," while still in the middle of a terrific area jam-packed with all kinds of places you'll want to go -- (Coffee shops, restaurants, stores, Whole Foods, etc., etc.). While the menu looks to be your basic pizza and pub grub, every dish I've tried has been surprisingly good -- a cut above what one would expect. The thin crust rectangular pizzas are enormous and delicious! And there's plenty of fare with lots of greenery, so you're free to make the healthy choice, too. The bar is terrific, with lots of tasty, reasonably priced cocktails and wines. It manages to be a great choice for an after-work drink with coworkers -- or a family meal! All this -- and free parking."

We had reservations and arrived a bit late, so wound up at the bar. It took a while to get service (very crowded and busy), but when we did, the bar tender and waiters were friendly and helpful."

  • "We made reservations but were made to wait approx 10 minutes, the excuse "you were on time but others weren't". We were seated & our drink orders were taken quickly, but it took a while for the drinks to arrive. Once the ball was rolling we placed our orders, received our appetizer & our soups quickly but thats when things slowed. We were seated for 1 hr & 15 mins before our entrees came out. Tables that sat after us received their food but we hadn't. Our waiter did not come to give us an update, we asked him. He did apologize however once we brought it to his attention. Once the food arrived it was delicious but we weren't able to enjoy it much as we rushed to eat & leave so we could catch our movie. We had to take our dessert to go too."

  • "Went for Valentine's dinner. Liked that they had both regular and prix fixe menu selections. Entertainment was very good - guitarist/singer accompanied by percussionist. Was lucky they had an opening and was able to get a table. Had a very enjoyable dinner. What was not cool was that a waiter or hostess told the people at the table next to us (who had been seated after us), that the restaurant needed the table, i.e., time for you to leave. Usually restaurants are more subtle than that. It seemed rude unless there was some prior agreement that they'd leave when the next reservation showed up."
