"My, oh my! The key letter is M - Max, the waiter of the decades. The owner/chef was delightful to talk with - the food he prepared was devine - the view spectacular - even got to watch a man and his three well-trained dogs catch and fetch frisbies on the lawn across the street - in addition to the mountain views and Max made the dining experience one in a million. While the restaurant is not in downtown Black Mountain - it is only 3 minutes away. Definitely worth a try."

"Went on Valentine's Day when the restaurant had a limited menu. Was pleasantly surprised with choices and emphasis on local ingredients. Can't wait to return and try some of their farm to table specialties. Creative bar menu. Deserts are well worth including as part of any meal and big enough to share. Convenient parking and easy to find. Will add to list of favorites and would recommend to anyone."
