The Black PearlSEAFOOD DELIGHTI choose the Black Pearl for it's seafood menu. We were out celebrating my boyfriends birthday. The Black Pearl was part of a package I purchsed through RUB. It was a wonderful dining experience and I would be willing to repeat the experience. The rainbow trout was amazing, well flavored and cooked to perfection. Our server Anthony was well-informed, friendly without being overly solicitous and highly efficient, given the level of business. The food is interesting, simply plated and incredibly tasty. Traditional fare blends well with new trends and the wine and cocktail lists are wide enough to be impressive, but easy enough to navigate without assistance. Do note that "energetic" could well be an understatement on the night you visit. Ultimately, it's a BAR and the patrons behave like they're out for drinks (and more drinks) rather than at an upscale eatery. The crab cakes(soft crisp outside) and calamari(perfectly cooked) starters were very good. My son and I loved the fish tacos(great balance of flavor).
