The Bistro - Biltmore EstateBiltmoreMy husband and I took my mother to Biltmore for the first time. We ended the day with dinner at The Bistro at Antler Village. Service and food were great.6/15/2013 12:00:00 AMGuaranteed Fine Dining ExperienceThe Biltmore Estate has been a part of my families tradition. We can always depend on The Bistro to have a variety of menu choices, great wine, wonderful service, and an atmosphere to fit any occasion. We recently attended The Bistro to celebrate our wedding anniversary and our waiter surprised up with a dessert plate. The Bistro always goes above and beyond to make each visit special. Thank you!6/8/2013 12:00:00 AMVisiting relativesAs Biltmore Passholders we like to have visiting friends enjoy some of the ambiance of the Estate. In addition to enjoying great food we were able to have our relatives enjoy Antler Village. Certainly, a double treat.6/8/2013 12:00:00 AMBistro at Biltmore EstateWe took friends out for dinner at the Bistro. The food was good, as was the service. The only disappointment was the cost. Otherwise, a great venue with nice ambiance.6/5/2013 12:00:00 AMA Treasure on Biltmore EstateThe Bistro has never disappointed. The food, ambiance and service are always outstanding. Last night we had the full gamut from appetizers to desert. The ribeye was perfectly seasoned and cooked. The scallops were giant and tasty. Highly recommend The Bistro when visiting the estate. A little pricey but what's not at Biltmore? Worth every penny.5/31/2013 12:00:00 AMFun Birthday with Friends!Dining at the Biltmore Estate always feels like you're on vacation. We started with the cheese plate is always great, their "special" honey with the blue cheese is fantastic. I had the Grilled Ribeye, which was perfectly cooked, served with the Lusty Monk mustard mashed potatoes. Everyone else got the nightly specials, one got the Halibut and the others got the "Surf & Turf" Flat Iron steak and scallops. The fish and scallops were perfectly cooked as well as the steak. The flavors on everything were great. For the dessert we all chose the Banana Split, which is deconstructed with Brûlée bananas fresh strawberrys and roasted pineapple. It was the highlight of the meal and a perfect finish. The service was also top notch.5/25/2013 12:00:00 AMWonderful service and greatWonderful service and great atmosphere. The cheese appetizer was delicious and my husband really enjoyed his entree. My entree was good, but I only had one choice because I do not eat fish or meat.5/25/2013 12:00:00 AMOnce againThis is the fourth time over the past six years that we have had and enjoyed a fine
meal and knowlegeable service. Very good food and attentive server.5/24/2013 12:00:00 AMWell prepared mealsLocated on Biltmore property so you must have a ticket to enter or stay at the Inn. Therefore this is not a place to eat if you just want a meal. The trout was nicely done. The pate is also recommended. The wine list is quite good, but not extensive.5/24/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat ExperienceThe service was wonderful. Our waiter, Nathan, was attentive and knowledgably of the items on the menu. Our steaks were just right. I had the rib eye and my husband had the filet. My potatoes with that brown sauce were out of this world. My husband was really impressed with the food too. This was a perfect get away for us, just a couple hours down the road. Biltmore Estate is a great place to visit. I have already recommended this restaurant to a few friends.5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMOutstanding Food and ServiceIt was so refreshing to dine here at The Bistro-Biltmore Estate. The food was outstanding and the service was impeccable. This is truly one of our all time favorite restaurants. We will definitely return.5/16/2013 12:00:00 AMWhat a nice mealWe had a lovely Mother's Day Meal here! We started with the pate with black truffle - wow! So rich and creamy. The fresh soft shelled crab was very special. The restaurant is so nice and has a great vibe. We had wonderful service, and the manager stopped by to check that all was good with the meal. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a great end to a day of the grounds.. My only suggestion is that I wish they had a better wine list - I appreciate that they want to sell their wines, but for a restaurant of this caliber, there needs to be more vairety.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMFantastic!!!Our waitress was super, and the food & wine was fabulous! We thank you so much!!! I had the Lamb Ravioli and it was super!!!5/1/2013 12:00:00 AMVery niceWhat can I say but Wow. It truely was one of the best dining times that me and my wife have ever had. Worth every penny!4/17/2013 12:00:00 AMHaving eaten at Cedric's onHaving eaten at Cedric's on Friday, I was prepared for the food to be good but not great at the Bistro. However, I was wrong. For appetizers we shared the Artisan Cheeses and the Duck Pate and both were excellent as were all 3 entrees, the special steak with lobster bread pudding, the lamb papperdelle, and the wood-fired chicken. Loved desserts as well, the creme brulee, the sorbet trio and especiall the baked Alaska.4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMOnly complaint is the wineOnly complaint is the wine markup. Same bottle of Estate wine in the wine shop next door is $20 cheaper.4/11/2013 12:00:00 AMIt was very quiet due to theIt was very quiet due to the time of year. Important to understand that the dinner menu is more formal than the salads and pizza which are available only at lunch. The food at dinner was deliciously prepared. This would be a good place for a quiet dinner with a spouse or romantic partner. Immediately next door to the Bistro is a wine bar with both indoor and outdoor seating.4/8/2013 12:00:00 AMThe food was excellent otherThe food was excellent other than it was all stacked up on top of itself.
