They should keep an octopus dish but remake it into a salad. Otherwise appetizers and mains were excellent. The only drawback was that the restaurant was very noisy, which made it very hard within our group of 8 to have conversations with more than 2-3 people.5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMPizza Gem in BanffWe were greeted warmly on arrival and our waitress showed up shortly after. She was knowledgable, friendly, attentive and not overbearing to inform us about specials, best choices for calzones and was able to cater to special requests (no olives, etc) with little fuss.
The pizzas are always absolutely delicious when we come and the calzone was no exception - it was absolutely delicious and if you catch their Tuesday night special it's a real deal at 10$. As well remember to ask for their in-house hot sauce, chili oil and honey if you've selected the donair.
This place is a must-visit every time I am in Banff for the fantastic atmosphere, friendly staff, and delicious menu.1/1/2013 12:00:00 AM
