Diner Reviews
  • "Most dishes here focus on pork and they're great! The bacon hummus was to die for and the 'plain' grilled cheese wasn't so plain with bacon on top. The paired tomato bisque was mouth watering. Atmosphere was good with a modern pub feel. Small, but will definitely visit again."

  • "Awesome greeting from Matt and service was very good! We were a large group and our server handled it well...ordered five of your large bloody Mary's but bar ran out of bacon. Brought some later...this was the only mis -step otherwise excellent! We will be back !"

  • "Best hamburger we have had in a long time, with quality meat and perfectly cooked. Interesting menu with many delicious choices. Creative cocktails too."

  • "We stopped in for lunch on our way out of town and had a delicious meal. The service was excellent. Would definitely stop in again, maybe for dinner the next time."

  • "Feel the menu is very expensive but generally food is good! Service is always outstanding! When you keep changing the menu you will continue to lose customers. Please bring back the Lobster Mac N Cheese! Love that you brought the Breakfast Burrito back!"

  • "We just moved to Denver from Oklahoma and wanted to find a nearby brunch place where we could enjoy good drinks and food with the wonderful Colorado weather. We got everything we were looking for. My husband had the Lobster Benedict and keeps taking about how great it was. We will be back!"

  • "The Berkshire Eggs Benedict was awesome. Instead of an English muffin, the Berkshire Benedict sits atop Texas toast bread pudding. The poached eggs were perfect, not overdone--and what's not to like about BACON."

  • "Found this place through Open Table, as we were staying nearby. Pleasant sidewalk seating, good food and good service. Nice place to go if staying nearby."

  • "Overall the experience was good. Although I made the mistake of ordering the Benedict. Their twist is to make it with your choice of bread pudding or Texas toast instead of an English muffin. I ordered the Texas toast thinking bread pudding would be to mushy. Unfortunately the toast soaks up the sauce and ends up soggy and piratically bread pudding anyway. I ended up pulling it out and eating the eggs without it. Typically their food is very good but they changed their menu and this specific option was a bad idea. "

  • "I live in Stapleton and have been going to the Berkshire ("the Berk") about once a month or so for the last 5 years. In all that time I can't say I've ever had a bad meal. The Berk has a friendly, neighborhood pub vibe but the seasonal menu is unexpectedly diverse. The place is known for its devotion to bacon and pork, but the lighter fare is excellent, also. The scallops are a favorite. It's also a nice place to stop in for a beer or two, and the cocktails are solid."

  • "We were looking for a slightly adventurous, new for us, and good food experience. Definitely found it! We tried pig wings and fried pickels, an assortment of sandwiches, and panna cotta for dessert. Everyone was very happy!"

  • "We are Stapleton residents and really like to get out of Stapleton to experience other restaurants and happenings... HOWEVER the Berkshire is always an amazing staple with great service. awesome food (Lobster benedict) and so friendly that we have a little 6 month old. We have turned so many people OUTSIDE of Stapleton to the Berkshire. Well done!"

  • "We went for Easter Brunch and had a great time. This is a very casual place, definitely nothing fancy, but you don't come for the ambiance, you come for the food. A very unique menu which offers unusual flavor combinations which delight the senses. If you're less adventurous, they do offer familiar fare. Throw in bottomless mimosas, which were delicious, and you have the recipe for a memorable experience. Our server was very attentive, despite the Easter crowd, and was friendly and efficient. The highlight of the meal was the dessert, Sticky Toffee Pudding a la mode. Simply incredible! "

  • "I made reservations well in advance and was stuck at a table for two hat looked like it was placed there on a whim. Right in the middle of the servers traffic flow and very close to the bathroom. Food and service were incredible. Would definitely return. "

  • "This is not a place for brunch if you don't like being around kids. Little kids. The neighborhood is mostly young families."

  • "Half of our table received their food 10 min before the other half. The drinks were slow to receive and the bacon and sausage add ons to the meals were received only after we asked about them."

  • "We went to The Berkshire for Restaurant Week and were delighted with our choice. The appetizer was a tasty start, the entrées were delicious, perfectly cooked and well-seasoned, and the dessert pudding was fantastic with the bacon in it. I loved it and I'd love to come back again."

  • "We tried Berkshire on a whim and we were very happy to find a great place close to home. The staff was super friendly and engaging and the food was excellent. The flowerless chocolate cake was a perfect finish to an excellent meal. . We will definitely go back and bring some friends."

  • "Always apprehensive when we go to a new restaurant with fancy names but this one was a gem. Between the four of us, we tried virtually everything that was offered on the Denver Restaurant Week special menu and were all extremely pleased. One member of our party is very picky about his food and he loved his. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a nice place to eat."

  • "This was my first time at Berkshire. The staff was very nice and accommodated my request to sit in a quieter area instead of next to the bar. We found the lightinga a bit too dim for our liking. The food was good. The sticky toffee pudding was, as reported, to die for. Sans Restaurant Week pricing, a bit pricey for mid-week dining for me."

  • "great choice for $52.80-- menu options were excellent and whole experience was good bar was out of Capt Morgan (the only rum my husband will drink) but because the rest of the meal/service was so good, wasn't hard to overlook."

  • "As a picky eater and a tongue that has texture issues. I went for the gusto and didn’t request changes to my plate. It was wonderful, our service was outstanding and I am completely satisfied all around. I would recommend this restaurant for any occasion."

  • "At first when we saw the portion size, we figured we'd leave hungry. Boy, were we wrong! The food was amazing, and we ended up leaving completely stuffed. We'll definitely be back to this little gem, and we'll bring friends!"

  • "I went to the Berkshire with my boyfriend and sister. My boyfriend had been there before and spoke highly of the restaurant. For my sister and I, it was our first time and we thoroughly enjoyed the food, drinks and service. We will return!"

  • "I ordered Lobster Mac N Cheese, the half size; I know lobster is expensive but really, a small cup portion of Mac N Cheese for 15 dollars? you;ve got to be kidding!!! What an embarassment when it was delievered to the table! Pasta is cheap so you should bulk the lobster up with the Mac N Cheese. Another option would be to fill the plate with a small salad, fruit etc...very disappointing!!! My friend ordered the pear, balsamic flatbread however, the addition of the mushy over cooked pear was very unappatizing. Not what you would find in a nice upscale restaurant. Again, very disappointing.... Ordered two glasses of Pinot Grigio and the wine glass was a quarter full...c'mon people this is rediculous for the price."

  • "We were there for brunch on Saturday. The food tasted good, but had the potential to taste great. Everything came out cold, as well as the coffee. After three trys of dumping my coffee and refilling, someone finally made a frresh, hot pot. We probably will not go there again"

  • "Went here for V-Day. Started with the bacon-wrapped jalapenos and the bacon flight. The jalapenos we're delicious and the four ways of bacon in the bacon flight made me never want to eat plain bacon again. The curry bacon was my favorite, but they were all delicious. I had the pork chop, which made me never want to cook a pork chop again as any pork chop I ever made would never taste as good as the pork chop here. Sides we're good, but the real hero was the chop. Wife had the pork belly. If i know the world is ending tomorrow, i'll have the pork belly. Crispy, meaty, with just the right amount of fattiness."

  • "The occasion was valentines day. They had a great prix fixe menu and a great set menu. If you are a pork lover this restaurant is for you. I had the pork belly and it was amazing. The bacon sticky toffee pudding was out of this world. It had a great romantic setting and I could see it being a great setting for just a casual meet up between friends after work."
