Well, since the first time we started eating at The Berkshire we have taken our friends that have flown in from out of state and they all love the food and service.
Scenic view, well not so much if your buy the window looking up into offices across the street.

We usually really enjoy the Berkshire, but this time it was not great. The food just wasn't very good & I was really disappointed!! I talked to other friends who said that they were unhappy with their meals as well. I don't know if it was because of Easter & the kitchen just wasn't prepared, but my eggs benedict was over cooked & my kids waffles were not good... I was pretty bummed.

We had an early dinner here. There were only 2 other tables at the time. My first pick, the ahi tuna club, wasn't available, so I ordered the Elk burger (new on the menu) with a side salad. The burger tasted like an ordinary beef burger, nothing special. I traded my salad for cottage cheese because the mixed greens had turned into that mossy wet stuff that I can't tolerate with field greens. More than 50% of the salad was like that. The house white wine was pretty tasty for $4/glass during happy hour. My husband ordered the pulled pork and thought there really wasn't anything special about it. We haven't been here for a while, so decided to come. We were disappointed.

Very noisey, The tables are way small and the hostess not a people person. Food was lackluster but our server was energetic. Not my favorite choice and I won't plan on going back.

What's not to love about a restaurant that features pork??? The best Restaurant Week dishes were the wild boar slider, the wild mushroom bread pudding, the cocoa rubbed pork tenderloin, the seared maple duck breast and two fantastic desserts - goat cheese walnut and honey tart with Reisling poached pears and sugared sage leaves, and salted caramel ice cream with bacon chocolate chip cookies. Portions were small-ish, but the food was delicious and very enjoyable. Definitely worth a trip back during the other 50 weeks of the year!

The food was excellent. Price is reasonable. The service was fair. I do recommend trying the restaurant. We may have came upon our server and Maitre D on a bad day. Loved the $3 PBRs!

We had the 5280 menu and it was wonderful. The portion size was just right. We were able to enjoy the whole menu. The salmon was delicious and the risotto perfect. I am not a huge pork fan but my husband thoroughly enjoyed the tenderloin and my taste was tender, moist and flavorful. The salted caramel ice cream was heavenly! The wait staff was efficient, if not overly friendly or engaging. It is a bit noisy and active but enjoyable. I would definitely visit again.
