The Belvedere RestaurantTraditional Polish cuisineIt was our anniversary dinner. We really enjoyed the ambience, cozy tables, creative cocktails, and beautifully presented food. Since I'm a big foodie I ordered Tender Chicken Livers and a Potato pencake with goulash..yummy!
Service was exceptionally friendly and attentive. We had a great time!6/10/2013 12:00:00 AMWe totally enjoyed our dinnerWe totally enjoyed our dinner @ the Belvedere. Service was good and the food outstanding. Good to have a Polish restaurant we will now frequent often. Never knew of it before the daily deal coupon was sent. So glad we tried it.6/8/2013 12:00:00 AMQuiet restaurant with great food!We arrived for an early dinner and found that the place was quiet inside, although there were a few diners outside on the patio. We were looking forward to a nice dinner and after a previous rushed dinner, it was nice to be able to relax and enjoy the delicious cuisine offered at the Belvedere.
Each time we've come we've enjoyed the varied eastern European cuisine, expertly made and beautifully presented. It's a great find and while the location is a little out of the way for dinner, it's well worth the trip!6/7/2013 12:00:00 AMFantastic birthday dinnerWe checked out the Belvedere restaurant for my birthday last week and it was fabulous. The food was wonderful and the staff were very friendly and attentive. We had the Pierogi z dodatkamki as an appetizer. The sauteed bacon and mushrooms over the pierogi was fantastic. For dinner, between myself and my family, we had the Schnitzel in hunter`s sauce, Placek po zbojnicku, and the pork steak- all of which were quite yummy. The only caveat to dinner was dessert. We tried the banana crepes covered in chocolate. While they were ok, I wish the banana would have been cooked. Overall, great meal at a fantastic new find. We're already planning on a return trip.5/24/2013 12:00:00 AMVery charming, old world feeling.Very charming, old world feeling. The food was excellent and very reasonable.5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMLove it or hate it......but what it does (polish food) it does well. My wife and I had a blast. The food was great, as was their selection of vodkas and polish beers, and the service couldn't have been better. My impression was that it is a family restaurant, with all the charm (and foibles) that that entails. Definitely worth a try.5/17/2013 12:00:00 AMGreatIf you can pronounce your menu selection, you deserve a discount. True Polish food. A good idea is to share a dish as the food can be filling. However, a great place in all categories.5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent selection of PolishExcellent selection of Polish food, very well prepared in traditional style and presentation. It's like eating my Polish Grandmother's home cooking!4/15/2013 12:00:00 AMGive the Belvedere a try!It was a very nice evening. The chicken liver appetizer was delicious! The menu is clearly different than all the American fare that comes your way. Don't try to judge the Belvedere by comparing it to American menus. It's clearly European and should be appreciated for its cultural uniqueness. It was our first time and we'll go back. I got a vodka specialty drink and it tasted like expensive apple cider, so if you want alcohol, get it straight up! The service was very attentive and responsive to our needs.4/12/2013 12:00:00 AMThis was a great find! The food we had was excellent. Be ready for a European experience and plan for plenty of time. We plan on going back! We went in the afternoon on Easter and almost had the place to ourselves, plus parking is free on a Sunday.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMAuthentic Cuisine/Old World FeelMy husband's grandparents all immigrated from Poland, and his fondest childhood memories are of his grandmother, mother, and aunts preparing perogis by the hundreds around a well-worn wooden table in a steamy winter kitchen. And so, wherever we travel, I'm on a continual quest to find truly authentic Polish cuisine. I've come close to hitting the mark a few times, but never has a place been completely "spot on" until we found The Belvedere. Check out their menu. Notice their only-in-Poland drink selection. (The Polish porter was remarkable.) Then make your reservations. You'll not be disappointed. Excellent service, charming old-world atmosphere, absolutely delicious Polish dishes. What a treasure, just off 16th Street in LoDo!12/29/2012 12:00:00 AM
