"A very nice restaurant with great food and friendly staff. quite limited though if you don't want to eat meat. The service was noticeably slow so, if you aren't in a hurry, it's a good place to go"

"I am not a chef but a very good cook.
An easy salad of spring greens should be more then bland green lettus leafs.
Being Vegetarian I choose the squash raviloi, and what sounded great was sweet and tasteless.Not a hard dish to compliment savory spices with.The server was very good and a fabulous room."

"Me and my guest came for lunch during this restaurants "Big Taste" event. The service was good, however not really outstanding for a restaurant of its calibre. The first course was a salad, which was soggy with the amount of dressing put on. The main course, however, was the most disappointing part. Perhaps my expectations were too high, but I thought the whole purpose of the "Big Taste" event was to promote your restaurant so that people would spread good things through word of mouth and come back again. Instead, it seemed the the restaurant did not really care about the quality of food they were serving because it was "only" 25$ instead of their regular prices. I have seriously had the same quality of meat at a 5$ steak sandwich."

"I heard great things about Belvedere so we decided to try the restaurant for lunch. We all picked the set menu. The salad was good but the rest of the meal wasn't; nor was it creative. Disappointing!"

"We dined at The Belvedere as part of the Big Taste Calgary event and it was good. We chose the set menu with wine pairing and enjoyed it. We all felt that for a menu offering four courses the portions were a bit on the large side as we were a bit too full at the end. The bison steak melted in our mouths and was very flavourful so we all ate it all, but based on the portion sizes we should have left half. We enjoyed our evening at The Belvedere."
