The Belvedere RestaurantGreatIf you can pronounce your menu selection, you deserve a discount. True Polish food. A good idea is to share a dish as the food can be filling. However, a great place in all categories.5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent selection of PolishExcellent selection of Polish food, very well prepared in traditional style and presentation. It's like eating my Polish Grandmother's home cooking!4/15/2013 12:00:00 AMGive the Belvedere a try!It was a very nice evening. The chicken liver appetizer was delicious! The menu is clearly different than all the American fare that comes your way. Don't try to judge the Belvedere by comparing it to American menus. It's clearly European and should be appreciated for its cultural uniqueness. It was our first time and we'll go back. I got a vodka specialty drink and it tasted like expensive apple cider, so if you want alcohol, get it straight up! The service was very attentive and responsive to our needs.4/12/2013 12:00:00 AMThis was a great find! The food we had was excellent. Be ready for a European experience and plan for plenty of time. We plan on going back! We went in the afternoon on Easter and almost had the place to ourselves, plus parking is free on a Sunday.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMAuthentic Cuisine/Old World FeelMy husband's grandparents all immigrated from Poland, and his fondest childhood memories are of his grandmother, mother, and aunts preparing perogis by the hundreds around a well-worn wooden table in a steamy winter kitchen. And so, wherever we travel, I'm on a continual quest to find truly authentic Polish cuisine. I've come close to hitting the mark a few times, but never has a place been completely "spot on" until we found The Belvedere. Check out their menu. Notice their only-in-Poland drink selection. (The Polish porter was remarkable.) Then make your reservations. You'll not be disappointed. Excellent service, charming old-world atmosphere, absolutely delicious Polish dishes. What a treasure, just off 16th Street in LoDo!12/29/2012 12:00:00 AM
