Everyone in my group enjoyed their food; the philly cheesesteak sandwich, french dip, salmon & spinach salad and fries, were all big hits. The problem is the overall feel of the place. There were only about 8 of us in the whole place for the 2 hours we were there and the kitchen and bar were out of many of the things we ordered. Our server had to come back 4-5 times to ask us for alternates because they were either out of it or had decided just that day to remove it from the menu. That shows poor restaurant management to me, as does having specialty drinks on the menu that you dont know how to make. If you go to the trouble to bring in a mixologist, make sure he gives you the drink recipes or hey, why not call him up and ask him?

First restaurant that has enforced the kid's menu age limit. We had 5 teenagers that wanted chicken strips. Although they were on the kid's menu and used in a wrap on the regular menu, the waiter wouldn't let them place the order. The free parking next to the restaurant was a plus.

Enjoyed it overall - would not get the huge beacon burger unless you like to mix bbq and hamburger together. Next time will try try the fish and chips - saw it on another table and it looked great. Chicken salad average, regular cheeseburgers and fries and were good.

Once this place gets going -- it's gonna take off. Gonna be a great little neighborhood restaurant just off the Plaza (and a little off the beaten path). It's a far cry from the Chinese buffet it used to be a hundred million years ago. Inspired menu. (Get the Beacon Burger!) And love the darkened decor. Can't wait to see this place get noticed.
