Upon arriving we had to wait about 15 minutes even with our reservation. At least the decor is interesting. When we were seated the waitress came right away. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and gave us some good suggestions. My husband ordered the Mojito over the cotton candy. It was fun to see them pour it in and tasted good. I had a glass of Spanish Red wine - a Grenache Blend which was good as well. We ordered the Iberico Jamon with the tomato bread and manchego cheese which was delicious. Everything else we ordered we enjoyed as well except for the artichoke dish. The artichokes were cold and had too much vinegar and oil and the olive tapenade didn't taste very good. The modern twist on the Spanish Tortilla was delicious. I recommend ordering that. We also got the Cheese Steak based on others reviews. It was good but not amazing. The brussels sprouts were very good however with the lemon foam. I realized that they forgot to give us a salad that we ordered after we left the restaurant unfortunately. We were moved into the dessert room after our dinner. It was cute and we were able to sit in a love seat. It was more comfortable than the dining room. We had the flan which was delicious. The coffee was good as well. It ended up being pretty expensive but it was fun to do something different for dinner. It was my husband's birthday so it turned out to be a nice evening. Probably not somewhere I would go all the time but good for special occasions. Definitely worth checking out if you haven't been before. After we had to wait for the valet for a very long time. I am not sure if this is due to an event being there that night or if it is usually like this. Three people in front of us lost their tickets which probably didn't help the situation.

Besides the sommelier, who was excellent, the service was atrocious. Food was good, but I expect outstanding service for this type of meal, or even just a waiter that would take our orders or check in once in a while. We poured our own wine, had to ask 3 people to get the server to take our check, he still never came. Asked for a candle for a friend's birthday and the waiter didn't even drop dessert menus and never did anything for her.

After you get over the "too cool for school" pretentiousness of the place, sit back and let your server prepare a menu for the table. We had a wonderful collection of super-interesting tapas with a great range of flavors. Leave room for desert in the desert bar.

The menu is tapas style and as a result we ordered way too much food (about 10 dishes for our group of 7, all doubled in size at the recommendation of the server). About half of the items we ordered were delicious and the other half were very mediocre or just too ambitious and not well realized. The restaurant really pushes the "Philly Cheesesteak" as a signature item and I would strongly recommend against it. It is a beautiful restaurant with lots of atmosphere and a great vibe but the food is so-so in my opinion.

Great place for a fun an unique night out. The concept is interesting - shared tables, small plates, separate dessert room. The food overall was very good. It fell a little short of "outstanding" (which is what one might expect for the price) but was very good. be prepared to wait - we were a somewhat annoyed when we arrived at 8:30 for our 8:30 reservation and were told by the hostess "you definitely want to go get a drink, sometimes it takes forever to get a table." Really, with a reservation? It took 20 minutes, so plan your evening accordingly - make a night out of dining here, and you'll have a good time.

Ar our arrival at the place, we thought we were going to have a bad night, the bar tenders were horrendous in there service to us! Specially the Asian looking lady at the bar, but as soon as we were seated granted it was 45min after our reservation, although we had arrive in time, once we were seated, the night was splendid at this restaurant, our service was phenomenal, our sommelier amazing! but Abel de los Santos a runner made our night something else! The chef prepared items off the menu that Abel suggested and they were outstanding! TRY THE TOMAHAWK STEAK TO DIE FOR! wine list has great bottles and over all a night to remember! I love everything Jose Andrés, I hope I can convince him that we open a restaurant in El Paso, TX

Food was great. Unlike on previous visits, service was absolutely horrible. Spottty & unattentive. Dishes clumped together w/ long gaps in between. We were scrambling for space on the table & ways to eat, with long waits in between. Dish grouping not logical. Drinks not refilled. Waiters seemed clueless. Manager stopped by & being informed the service was bad, said she would make sure things change but really nothing improved. She did refill our drinks at the table before disappearing never to be seen or heard from again. Waited 30 mins to be reseated for dessert and 10 more for menus! All in all a very. very disappointing experience. Something has changed. if not for the food, the experience would have been an unmitigated disaster.

I loved José Andrés' PBS show, Made in Spain. We were greeted by the friendly staff. Service was slow. We ordered the jamón platter-superb! It came with very tomatoey pan con tomate-just like being in Spain. The ensaladilla rusa tasted flavorful and creamy-the tuna tasted very fresh, though it probably came from a can, it was of high quality. The shrimp in garlic sauce were not good; we got five lousy, bland shrimp and you could barely taste the garlic. I asked for bread to dunk in the sauce and they gave us some airy chunks which did not absorb the sauce, and charged me $1.50-how cheap of them! The flank steak tasted gamey, though I loved the piquillo pepper sauce. The best was the patisserie. Too expensive for inconsistent quality.

The Bazaar is gastronomy at its finest. The portions are quite small, but satisfying. You taste one delectable morsel which then will have you anxiously waiting to try the next dish to arrive. One word of caution is that you should start with three dishes per person and not the five they recommend. We ordered three per person (12 dishes) and dessert and it was plenty.

Lots of restaurants hide behind swanky offbeat decor and a menu of impressive sounding dishes that never quite fulfills in their promise. Bazaar delivers. Dish after dish was delicious; sometimes in surprising ways; sometime just by getting the fundamentals exactly right. Yes Bazaar employs a host of modern techniques, but always in service of flavor. Nice.

Well named place. UNUSUAL FOOD AND DECOR. Half of the food looks nothing like what we thought when we ordered. Best two dishes were the expensive ham appetizer and the rabbit. Philly cheesesteak good for three bites. Moving to a different room for dessert is totally wired and the room is strange-candles in the shape of skulls, pastel teddy bears, book store, etc. good people watching.

Bazaar is all that it purports to be. Extensive menu (almost overwhelming), creative dishes, comfortable yet swanky ambiance & superb service. The liquid nitrogen Caprina is not to be missed, and the wine list is strong. We had our server choose dishes for us, so it was fun to not know what was coming. High notes = the ceviche roll with avocado, the octopus and the wagyu beef cheeks - all superb. We ended our dinner with the Philly Cheese Steak - oh, the delicious decadence. For dessert, we were moved into another room, where the lighting is really off. We were sat next to a display case with bright florescent light, which sort of killed the mood. The dessert was incredible though - the Nitro Coco - our favorite dish of the entire night.

Bazaar is in the SLS hotel, and the restaurant caters to the same type of clientele as the hotel. Both the guests and the restaurant focus first on presentation, second on quality, and value is a far third. The menu is vast so you may want the wait staff to steer you in the right direction, but must have dishes include ceviche, scallops, paella, "philly", and "guac" cups

I read a lot about this place and was pretty excited to experience the food and ambiance. Maybe it was too hyped up but the tapas styled portions left me hungry and my wallet empty. Do not get me wrong, the various dishes (scallops, mushrooms, philly cheesesteak, tacos) were good but not at the price paid. I had similar quality and innovative dishes at less expensive places. I was also a bit annoyed that after making a reservation way in advance and noting it was a birthday - we were seated in a small round table in the middle of the restaurant. There were 5 other tables at that time and by the time we were done, half dozen max. Other couples had booths and larger tables, they did accommodate but I had to ask.

Food was delicious, unique and interesting combinations that were exciting! Overall this is a great restaurant, our only complaint was with the server. Unfortunately she seemed uninformed about the menu, and most frustrating her attention to our table was lacking. For the ambience and overall feel of the restaurant the service didnt come close. Lets face it a fine dining restaurant should provide exceptional service, however our table was left without attention for an extended period of time (about 30- 40 mins) after we had finished our entrees. No one came to check on us, or ask about dessert, or even the check. Finally we had to interupt the server at another table to indicate we would like dessert. Still it took another 15mins.

I've been here twice before - the Japanese inspired additions are wonderful. I wouldn't recommend more than 4 in the group to truly appreciate the food. Like most modern restaurants noise is bouncing off all the hard surfaces - decorators should learn to soften it up a bit - problem is designers like form over function - so guest have to shout to hear each other

I drove the restaurant crazy not being able to find it and called them many times before arrival. Leslie and Daniel the manager on the phone were endlessly patient with my confusion. Once arrived and seated I was completely overwhelmed with the service (sorry I forgot the fine waiter's name), the food, and the cocktails. I asked the waiter to select the items for the meal and I was very relieved for the guidance. Never have I experienced such exceptional food at such value in a restaurant anywhere. The vegetarian philly cheese steak was very, very wonderful. The mojito included a stalk of sugar cane that really added a delicious dimension to the drink. Do not hesitate to dine at The Bazaar

A bar that charges $17 for a cocktail should know how to make a good old Fashion. Mine was weak and watery. We ordered 5 dishes: carrot fritters with apricot and pistachio-- all I tasted was salt & some spice. The cauliflower couscous -- this was a small serving of dry quinoa with no hint of cauliflower anywhere. The shrimp & the Flank steak were great. At first they gave us beef cheeks instead of the flank steak and they were awful. I told the waiter when he dropped the check that we had ordered flank steak & he said, "I know". We then got the flank steak. But the fact that he thought he would slip that by us without telling us is reason to never go back. This was very low quality for a place claiming to be fine dining.

I'll start with the one blemish on an otherwise perfect evening: bazaar is VERY strict about their seating policy. We had a reservation for four, but one of our party got stuck in traffic and was running 15 min late. They refused to seat us until everyone arrived. The hostess told me that dining at Bazaar is like a journey, and all guests need to embark upon that journey together. Whatever. We waited in the bar. Everything else was fantastic!!! No regrets, and totally worth the high price. An unfoegettable meal.

The noise level is very high and increases as the night wears on. Seems like a good place to take Japanese group of tourists where they can have a large range of choices of sushi. The two highlights of the meal where the fried fish and the flan both of which were the best we ever had. The low point was the Philly cheese sandwich, Post on those other server. It was totally out of place with the rest the Spanish tapas. Revise the dish replacing the cream cheese with something soft and pickled.
