We really like the possibility of having great tapas with Spanish roots and others with more exotic combinations! The service was very attentive. We also enjoy a lot the fact that we make the order and they bring the tapas in a perfect sequence. Lastly, the SLS scene is certainly vibrant. So if you feel you want to be in a place with lots of beautiful people coming and going. This is certainly your place."

  • "Menu hard to follow. Small plated (tapas style), over priced. Pork dish a couple of very thin slices of cured pork (prosciutto style),couple of small pieces of tomato bread 42 dollars. Very salty !! Other small plated items were ok. It was all about the presentation. A place to go for a special occasion. Three tapas each and 1 glass of wine each and the bill was over 218 dollars before tip and we walked out hungry. My husband and I have been to many restaurants and he makes a substantial amount of money. It was not about the money it was about what you got for the money.. We went to a place called Flying Fish which was equal amount of money but the food was very very good and the price was justified."

  • "I consider myself a "foodie" and this place was excellent. My husband can be a picky eater at times and he loved it just as much as I did. Our waiter recommended a Spanish wine, it was perfect with our food. We ended up drinking the entire bottle. As for the food- our favorites were: the pork buns, my mouth is watering thinking about how good the pork belly was!! The forie gras yogurt "colada cubana" sounds werid but it was the perfect savory/sweet combo. Another favorite was the deconstructed key lime pie- perfect end to a great meal! One of the best meals I've ever had. Expensive, but worth it for great food!"

  • "This place is amazing. We went for a nice dinner as our last night in Miami on a bachelorette party. The service is excellent. Our waiter was incredible with suggestions on some of the house favorites and helped us with how much to order (we had 8 of us). I would highly recommend this to anyone in the south beach area. I will definitely be back there the next time I'm in south beach."

  • "Cocktail where fun the place its beautiful but I was aspecting way more that Finishing a tasting menu with yucca serpent was definitely not a progression of flavors and putting a cutting board of cold cut its not suitable for a tasting menu it results in a heavy mix and confusions of flavors . Final conclusion NO WORTH simple not up to standard the technical level of the kitchen its pretty good but the ingredient are of a poor quality for what you pay and not satisfying the Ideas some good but disorganized most of the member of the staff its no trained properly including the bar to give a good a experience to a guest we felt guilty no comfortable the waiter didn't guide us and the sommelier I never seen it therefore no reason to came back ."

  • "This was our second time dining at the Bazaar. The servers are cordial and quite helpful. Service was without flaw. The food is quite original, well prepared, and delicious. The atmosphere and food stimulates all the senses and makes the evening quite enjoyable. We will definitely be back on our next trip to South Beach. We have eaten at several Jose Andres restaurants, especially in Washington DC. They are always wonderful. He should be very proud to have his name on this one as well."

  • "Jose's restaurants are always amazing for the food. And until now, service. We dinned Friday night. Service was very average. Server was great for the first fifteen minutes and then Saw him as a team of runners dropped plates with a rushed five second overview. I would come back, but only once more if this happened a second time. When the back of the house is trying so hard, it's truly a shame when service lets diwn the team. We were seated in the bar overlooking a stairway and the street, despite having reservations for a while, hence the average ambiance. Put a screen up by the stairs for gosh sakes In case it is lost by the above, the food was outstanding. I've been to three of his restaurants now and the good never dissapoints."

  • "It has been years since we've eaten in a trendy, "buzz" generating restaurant and we were not disappointed. The fascinating food here was exceptional, and the atmosphere and service were fabulous. Cocktails, which feature fruit and savory flavors like rosemary and fennel, were excellent (the Big Bison and #SAHARA are both highly recommended). Among the many fantastic tapas we had, all of which were beautifully presented, the smoked oysters might have been the most spectacular. They arrive at your table under a glass cloche filled with smoke, and are topped with a foamy mignonette whose bubbles trap the smoke until they burst in your mouth, releasing the smoke flavor. The whole experience was stellar. Highly recommend."

  • "Our experience was marred by the Ultra Music Festival. I would check out the hotel first to ensure they aren't hosting a drunken disco party before ever going back to this restaurant. The food was exceptional and the service was very good. But the constant stream of drunken 20-somethings parading through the dining area was ridiculous. I even had to wait in line behind party-goers to even get into the hotel. If I were Chef Andres, I'd look for a venue that respects the quality of the restaurant. This one certainly doesn't."

  • "The way jose Andres visit tapas is just wonderful. We experienced tapas in Barcelona last end 2013.... And the Alvares tapas were a big surprise. It is the place to go in South Beach. But you have to chose the good time for this. During the Music Week it is too noisy and the people crossing the restaurant during your diner, only dressed with beach wear is a nonsense in such a place. This hotel and restaurant is not designed for welcoming music . It is a non respect for the customers of the restaurant and of the hotel. Don't understand this..."

  • "Bazar is one of those places where you go once, have to try hard to enjoy being there, and most likely never come back. The food was just good. Tapas style enough for 2-3 people at about $18 each - make the math. You will end up at about $150 a piece if you stick to one of the moderately priced wines. Of the 7 tapas we ordered, one was exceptional (a won-ton like filled with bacalao foam). All others were average at best. The service was moderately ok - more hip than quality. The space is beautifully done and the ambiance is fun, a bit congested, but it does deliver the South Beach scenery of a Saturday night ...if that is what you are looking for. Overall, just good but overpriced."

  • "We have been to Bazaar in LA and to Jose Andres Minibar in DC and we liked Bazaar SOBE best. Food was innovative ad tasty without being weird or pretentious. We went when the hotel was hosting a huge electronic music festival during Spring Break. While the restaurant itself was relatively quiet the noise from outside whenever someone opened the door to the terrace was deafening---literally! We will definitely go back on a "normal" night."

  • "We were here with friends. No complains about the food...it was great and everything we expected. But the service was dissapointing. The server we had seemed upset all the time. If someone is in the hospitality industry.....they should know that they have to smile and be pleasant. He seemed grim and made us feel that maybe we are not ordering enough or not ordering what he wanted. Second: the waiters seemed in a hurry to clear half eaten plates away. When one is out with friends...its all about laughter, talks, drinks and food. No one likes to feel rushed. Though we love the food....the service left a bad taste in the mouth for all of us. Not worth coming back."

  • "I've been there twice, once with my boyfriend and once with an 11 people group. Both occasions were a success. Their food is generally delicious (coming from a spaniard with a high standard for Spanish cuisine) and fun, with some modern touches and an interesting mix in the menu. Scene is great as well and service is great. They were really accommodating with he tasting menu for my 11 people group"

  • "That was my second time st Bazaar, first time in Miami. I had huge expectations cause I had a phenomenal dinner st Beverly Hills. I was disappointed. Very far from the amazing experience I had before. The prions were huge and the dishes not as creative as in LA. The service was great and the dessert was the best part of our meal ( I don't like desserts). The price is the same than LA then if I have to go back I am flying to California."

Although we were familiar with the tapas style food in Barcelona and Valencia, this restaurant is different. The selection is upscale and food presentation is impressive. The dragon fruit is spectacular for all senses. It is a must, specially for foodies."

  • "The entire dining experience at The Bazaar was special. Excellent service!! We asked our waiter to choose our food selections because there were so many choices on the tapas menu.   • "I can't find any flaws with this place, and I would recommend it to anyone visiting SoBe. It's a tapas restaurant, but it was really different from other tapas places I've tried and the portions were not tiny. We loved everything but the bao con lechon (pork belly sliders), dragonfruit and tuna ceviche (served inside the dragonfruit), cuban coffee rubbed skirt steak and brussel sprouts were amazing. I rarely go to the same restaurant twice when traveling, because I want to try many different things, but next time I visit SoBe, I will go twice. I just wish I had a bigger tummy to try all of their dishes!!"

The hostesses were friendly and helpful, our server Mario was very fun and extremely knowledgeable on the very large menu, the managers were attentive and the servers polite and friendly. The dining room was delightful - and it was easy to carry on a conversation yet not overly quiet. The drinks - while on the expensive side - were worth every penny. But the food - the food was phenomenal! We enjoyed every tapas we tried, and even had dessert (which is a rare occasion for us). Everything was absolutely perfect. We had great drinks, great food and wonderful time with each other and the staff! In fact, it was so good the first night we went back again the next night. Highly recommended!"

  • "A restaurant of this caliber should not have run out of their signature drink at 9pm...no caipirinhas! Service was also not up to expected standards. Like the caiparinhas, the wine that we ordered was not available. The wait service was at best questionable. As the food seemed to be coming at a rapid pace at many tables, we decided to slow down the pace by ordering one or two tapas at a time. Unfortunately, the waiter failed to check on us and a half hour would pass before he arrived at our table again. We brought our meal to a conclusion, not because we were done but because we were tired of waiting. The food that we did have was very good, but not enough make up for the lapses in service."

  • "We booked this reservation before arriving from NYC given the reviews, and we were not disappointed. I neglected to check out the menu ahead of time, so we needed some orientation to the idea -- an old world vs new world Spanish tapas theme that really shifts from traditional, classic tapas to super-modern dishes that are innovative and refreshing. We didn't order all dishes at the start of the meal as recommended...we wanted to take our time and experiment. This was a good idea as we wandered through the menu to items I doubt we would have selected at the start. Our waiter (Jason) was terrific. Cool experience, albeit expensive."

  • "Very disappointed, and would not return. On the positive, the room is beautifully decorated, service was good. The menu was varied and interesting, but the portions were tiny (our check was $350 for two.) At some point, we just decided that we were just not going to feel filled up. We were seated in the back right corner of the room, not realizing that we were in the direct path to the servers stand, their bar pick-up area, and their register...so every server came by time and time again. My husband's high-back chair would be knocked into so many times, and the one large male waiter continually banging into it became unbearable. We spoke to the Manager, but he didn't seem to care, which left a bad taste in our mouths."
