The Bazaar by José Andrés at SLS Hotel South BeachOutstanding! This was our first time at Bazaar and our experience was outstanding. Our waitress Marci was attentive, funny and gave us great suggestions. I have food allergies and the menu is very eclectic, so Marci brought out a special menu for me! They had one for dairy, nut, and peanut...amazing! I got the tuna cerviche with passion fruit and I highly recommend it. I also got the scallops and spinach, both delicious. My husband ordered the brussel sprouts, coconut rice and shrimp and he loved them. Everything was prepared perfectly and presented beautifully. We ended up drinking champagne, but the signature cocktails looked amazing.5/13/2013 12:00:00 AMOutstanding In All RespectsWhat a magnificent restaurant! I highly recommend it!
An elegant restaurant with tasteful and hip furnishings that let you know you are someplace special. Perfect. Our waitress and servers were warm & friendly, super efficient, and we felt very pampered. We were even asked what chairs we preferred at our table! The manager made us feel like we were the only ones in the restaurant & treated us like celebrities. How can you not like that! The food - oh the food. Superb in every aspect. Perfect portions, beautifully assembled, wonderful tasting with flavors that made the textures and tastes come alive. You realize you've had a superb culinary experience when you're finished. If you like excellent chefs, service, and surroundings go to Bazaar!5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat place, dinner expirience!First off all very well knowledge staff. John Can our sever was very professional and on point in every detail, explaining every dish and the best way to go into the great menu. We were treat like a royalty, we felt unique. Manager Jimmy Pumarol is amazing very energetic, great focus in costumer service. The food is truly gem in creative and flavor, presentation is unique, like all restaurants of Jose Andres, I was in Jaleo DC and this place is great as well. Good job from hostess to runners very professionals. Definitely I'll come back.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food and fashion atmosphereBrought friends in from out of town, loved the liquid olive in my martini. Great experience with traditional and modern Spanish cuisine.5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMMy husband and I visited whileMy husband and I visited while away in Miami. Excellent restaurant. The staff were all very attentative. The food was amazing. Our waiter Gus was wonderful. We had a drink on the patio before dinner and they were great and the bartenders were very nice. SLS Hotel is definatley a hot bar scene later in evening as streams of people were going through the restaurant to the patio.5/9/2013 12:00:00 AMThis is one of the best inThis is one of the best in South beach, it is a out stand fusion cuisine.5/9/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat ExperienceThe spanish food was incredible, the service perfect!
I spended a couple of hours there celebrating my mom's birthday and was great. Good place for a group of friends. I didn't lost time waiting for my reservation, this was great. And the food took me to the greatests tapas bar of spain.5/8/2013 12:00:00 AMKnowledgeable wait staff.Knowledgeable wait staff. Great drink menu. Must try the passion fruit ceviche.5/3/2013 12:00:00 AMOpulenceI found the food to be incredible, yes....truly exquisite. The service was also perfect. The Decor & ambiance impeccable. This is definitely a special occasion kind of place or just for the jet set / wealthy. The food was priced fairly considering how wonderful it was but the drinks were very overpriced & the cost to park obscene! It seemed to be "The" place for the beautiful people, notably Miami's gorgeous models. It is not a place for kids or people who will be shocked by scantily clad models on their way to the pool bar also in the hotel. If I was able to I'd eat there often. The food & atmosphere was perfect! I highly recommend this place to serious foodies!!!!5/3/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent experience. FoodExcellent experience. Food and service were great. Very cool atmosphere.4/26/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Food and presentationBeautiful place to have dinner along with the beautiful food and waiters4/26/2013 12:00:00 AMThe food was amazing. SomeThe food was amazing. Some items were new but great. Ask the servers to recommend or explain the tapas. It can be a little pricey but sooo worth it. There is also this fancy gin and tonic. Pretty good and very appealing.4/25/2013 12:00:00 AMThe Bazaar by famed chef JoseThe Bazaar by famed chef Jose Andres is truly exceptional. Worth a visit.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMA must not miss, while in Miami.Simply but, amazing food! By far the best dinning experience in Miami.4/19/2013 12:00:00 AMMake sure you ask for a tableMake sure you ask for a table in the main dining room otherwise you may end up in the lobby area or at the entrance to the main dining room with people walking past constantly. Food and service great some tables are not.4/18/2013 12:00:00 AMI brought a non-foodie hereI brought a non-foodie here and I was a little worried, but this person truly enjoyed the experience. From the excellent service to the exquisite presentation, this was truly a treat. I recommend this restaurant to someone who is looking for the unusual and not afraid to try something different.4/16/2013 12:00:00 AMMost enjoyable meal... MyMost enjoyable meal... My wife and I are foodies. This was our third visit to Bazaar. We ordered 17 dishes between the 3 of us plus dessert. Dessert fell short but dinner 1was absolutely delicious. They are consistent. The wait staffs are accomodating and knowledgable. You will leave yhere feeling like a judge from Top Chef. A must do if you in Miami.4/15/2013 12:00:00 AMIf you decide to stay someplaceIf you decide to stay someplace on South Beach this is the place to be at for dinner or cocktails. Being a part of the hospitality industry tends to make you a bit more picky, but the place exceeded our expectations. The food was absolutely amazing. Our server Marty was outstanding- very engaging and dedicated. I will definitely go back.4/15/2013 12:00:00 AMEverything about this restaurantEverything about this restaurant was outstanding. Amazing flavors.4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMAn Incredibly Special Experience!A truly spectacular crown of the Jose Andres empire! The creative, gourmet tapas are not to be believed - absolutely delicious with beautiful presentation. The molecular gastronomic dishes, such as the Cuban Sandwich, are scrumptious. Flavors here are stunning, and the staff is magnificently warm and attentive. They are beyond perfection! The Starke designed dining room is gorgeous, with lots of interesting touches. The chandelier is simply amazing!
This terrific establishment has truly turned into one of our favorites for special occasions. When in Miami, don't miss this incredible experience!4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMYou can't beat Bazaar!Bazaar by Jose Andres is fantastic! The energy in the restaurant is very eclectic and intriguing and the food is amazing as can be expected by Jose Andres. We loved the meat platter and the Spanish cheese as well as the endive and goat cheese dish that we have had at his other restaurants. The venue is also wonderful as the SLS hotel is new and hip and energetic. We dinned there as a couple several times and I have hosted dinners for clients as well. It is equally great for both. The Spanish wine list was also impressive and inventive.4/8/2013 12:00:00 AMI've eaten at other Jose Andres'sI've eaten at other Jose Andres's restaurants so we chose Bazaar while in Miami. Our group of 4 enjoyed a well paced tasting menus for $100/person plus tax and the standard 18% grats all restaurants in Miami add. With one round of pre dinner drinks, and wine it was about $750 for our party of 4. Some of the dishes were fantastic, while others were not really as special and some even greasy or a little odd. Dessert was an absolutely highlight. A good place to enjoy a unique meal in Miami.4/7/2013 12:00:00 AMBeautiful restaurant, creative foodVery fun place full of beautiful people eating creative food. It ain't cheap. But oddly worth it.4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMmust tryfood was good. interesting combinations. food comes out slowly but i think it's part of the experience. everyone was very attentive. they ran out of one of the dishes we ordered and sent us other apps on the house. very sweet gesture!4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMThe most unique, spectacularThe most unique, spectacular dinner I have ever had! Javier was a great server, guiding us thru the rich menu... We all loved it and can't wait to go back!4/4/2013 12:00:00 AMSimply the BestI have lived in Miami for over 5 years now, and I until The Bazaar came I had never experienced a truly unique, exciting, tasty and overall outstanding dining experience. Not only is the food great, but it's creative as well. Service is absolutely brilliant, the friendliest staff on South Beach; you feel how glad they are to offer you the best dining experience in town. Special thanks to two of the best servers of the restaurant: Javier Mendez and Ian Wogan, who will make your dinner truly exceptional.4/3/2013 12:00:00 AMThere were so many optionsThere were so many options on the menu and it was so hard to decide on what to choose. We ended up getting the Caipirinhas. (Amazing! Made tableside with Liquid Nitrogen!! It was like a Granita) For food we had: Kueh Pai Ti (sort of non-eventful), the Japanese Tacos (interesting flavor with eel), Papas a la Huancaina (only 4 tiny potatoes but otherwise yummy), Brussel Sprouts (summery flavors), the Scallops (HIGHLY RECOMMEND) and the Salmon (Our favorite. This was the best dish we had.)
For dessert we tried 3 dishes! The Tres Leches, the Key Lime Pie and the Chocolate dish. The chocolate dish would have been my favorite except for the olive oil drizzled on it.
Overall, the dishes were creative and fun to try!4/2/2013 12:00:00 AMOverall a terrific experience.Overall a terrific experience. Service and food quality were excellent. Presentation was fun and innovative. Staff were good looking but not snobish or uniterested as you may find in many trendy restaurants. A little on the pricey side but afterall you are dining in south beach at the SLS. Cheers.3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMA Do Not MissOk, so the only knock on this restaurant is that they will try and stick you in the bar area fo dinner given half the chance. It doesn't compare to the dining room. I politely declined. When I am paying 500 for a dinner for four the bar doesn't work. That being said the food is extraordinary as is the service and the entire experience. This is a do not miss. Keep in mind this is a tasting menu which can be daunting. But between our waiter's suggestions and taking our time you will have a culinary experience that is so unusual, so challenging to your taste buds that you will never forget it. The price is worth it.3/29/2013 12:00:00 AMinteresting food but priceyFood was very good and we looked forward to eating bere for months. We found the Menu was difficult to navigate. Many choices of tapas portions, with little guide to what's for a single person vs. multiple portion dish. We were ordering multiple things each, not knowing if each portion was just for us or for sharing, which led to overordering. Bill was very high. We were a party of 7 and the bill was $750.3/29/2013 12:00:00 AMVery good food, great combinations,Very good food, great combinations, and good to try new experiences3/28/2013 12:00:00 AMSorprendente. Would have liked them to have acknowledged it...3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMFood was impeccable. BananaFood was impeccable. Banana mojito dessert is phenomenal even if you are stuffed from the meal. It is so refreshing and light. Jamon Iberico de Bellota Fermin is the star on the menu.3/21/2013 12:00:00 AMMust go!We had a fantastic meal at Bazaar! Creative food, excellent and knowledgable service. On the pricey side, but for a memorable meal was totally worth it! It's on our list of "must go" places in SoBe.3/21/2013 12:00:00 AMWe got the tasting menu andWe got the tasting menu and it was excellent. We have been to the Bazaar in Beverly Hills and this one was much better. Food was better, service was better. The Deconstructed Key Lime Pie was amazing. It was pricey, but worth it.3/18/2013 12:00:00 AMAmazing experience. IncredibleAmazing experience. Incredible food and tastes. Great service. Probably one of the best restaurants of Miami.3/15/2013 12:00:00 AMDining RedefinedVery cool space. Unique food that is incredibly delicious. Staff are highly trained and very attentive.3/14/2013 12:00:00 AMWow!A great addition to the South Beach scene. Super tasty and inventive plates are the main attraction, but were nearly upstaged by the people watching. Genuine and attentive service. Loved our hygrogen Caparinas to start out the evening. A great night out!3/14/2013 12:00:00 AMOur waiter Christopher wasOur waiter Christopher was amazing and really helped guide us through the menu and made some great choices for us. Brilliant food! Wonderful evening!3/13/2013 12:00:00 AMOutstanidng meal made betterOutstanidng meal made better by an outstanding server.3/13/2013 12:00:00 AMClassic tapas menu was betterClassic tapas menu was better than the experimental ome3/7/2013 12:00:00 AMModernist Cuisine Tapas Style...I wasn't sure what to expect - I was imagining more of a Spanish tapas type restaurant, not ultra modern offerings served tapas style. This restaurant is amazing. Seriously, having gone through the cost and reservation process at Ko, this is incredibly similar in effort and tastes at a much lower price point and much easier to access (especially since one is in Miami and the other NYC).
My point is that the food is incredible, a ton of fun, and ordering 3 or so choices per person means everyone gets fed and leaves feeling satisfied and not stuffed.
Definitely worth going, must be one of the best places on SoBe.3/5/2013 12:00:00 AMWonderful, creative and differentWonderful, creative and different food, combined with lovely ambience and good service.2/16/2013 12:00:00 AMI LOVE SLS and The BazaarI LOVE SLS and The Bazaar in Beverly Hills so I had to check this out when it opened and when I was in Miami. We did desserts and wine so I won't be rating the regular meals though I am sure they are just as delicious! (The menus have some overlap though it appeared to be mostly new and different items, will be back to dine another time.) Jose Andres never fails to impress. We had a banana mojito dessert (highly recommend) and the yuca churros (OK, didn't blow me away).2/11/2013 12:00:00 AMEverything was wonderful.Everything was wonderful. Feels like a special event even if it is not! Great experience and fun people watching.12/30/2012 12:00:00 AMiami's new hot spot to dineiami's new hot spot to dine and be seen.Very creative menu and bar list. Now if they would only answer the phones or if you could leave a tape recorded message to make or change a reservation!12/5/2012 12:00:00 AMInteresting CuisineThis new SoBe hot spot has an interesting take on tapas cuisine with various other influences. It was interesting and I am glad that I went but it is not a place that I would go back to time and again as it is very expensive for what you get. Try the deconstructed key lime pie!11/15/2012 12:00:00 AM
