Food is excellent - classic seafood and raw bar with southern influences and hospitality. Service is spot on without being intrusive and atmosphere runs from classic in main dining to casual outside and in bar area. Live music and outdoor seating waterside or at the fire pit. Everyone in our party of four enjoyed thier seafood dishes. The two-tiered appetizer that we shared with oysters, lobster, shrimp, crab, crawfish, and spreads was amazing. We did save a bit of room to share a dessert, and strongly recommend the brown butter gooey cake. It was a dinner to remember. I bring all my out of town guests to this wonderful restaurant and when they return it is the first place they want to go. We are always welcomed with a smile. The food is fantastic, the service very good and the view very peaceful. I always ask for a window table when I make my reservation and have never been disappointed.

Valet parking, hostess, and wait staff were all very friendly and knowledgeable. They even let us leave our rental car in their parking lot over night while we rented a limo that took us home. The first nights our steaks were wonderful, the second time my steak did not have the same wonderful flavor and was over cooked.

This time we went early on Sunday night (5PM), had a great view of the afternoon light across the mangroves and inlet, watching kayakers paddling by at the end of the day. To say the atmosphere is fantastic is an under-statement. Very romantic but open as well. The bar scene is very upscale with a great group playing a mix of latin jazz complete with a pan flute and a very authentic sound. The bar is separated from the dining room so you don't get the impression there is a lot of activity on top of you. The crowd is 50's and up for the most part, and sophisticated. But he had a lot of tables to serve. My husband, who is very picky, thought the snapper was excellent. I also enjoyed the scallops. We will go back again. I ordered a small plate which included an appetizer, an entree, and a dessert. The pimento cheese spread appetize caught my eye as unique and fun to try. Boy am I glad I did. It was so amazing that I saved some and put it over my petite filet when it arrived. My filet was cooked perfectly and was very good. For desert I ordered the lemon pound cashew with fresh berries.
