"I would recommend for non-holidays and for Easter Brunch if you like good food but don't mind a very poorly organized brunch with a poor service, little room to move through the restaurant, waiters unapologetic when they literlly throw plates or cups at you, etc...As well, they consistently under prepared certain items and literally you had to wait 30 minutes for the next batch and were lucky if there were any left when you finally got to the station to get it. For $30 for adults a little overpriced given all the hassles but good prices for the kids."

"We specifically requested a table not too close to other tables on our Open Table reservation. When we were directed to a table shoved between two others, I asked the hostess why our request wasn't granted. She said that she saw it but that they don't have ANY tables that aren't right next to another. This is not true. We have eaten here before and they have private tables on the patio. It was very difficult to maneuver the brunch trying to slide in and out of these tables that were too close together to begin with, people were bumping in to each other, you were a part of the conversation on either side of you. Never again. We used to like this place. The food selection was not what I expected either - no LUNCH offerings."

"Great brunch for the money in our neighborhood. Buffet was sufficiently stocked with decent seafood for the Easter buffet. Omelet bar nice. Service is excellent, we were well looked after. We would go back again.. No issue with noise, pleasant. We ran into 3-4 families from our church!"

"This is a review for the Sunday Brunch. Not a place to expect a healthy meal. Salads have far too much dressing. No lean proteins, only bacon & sausages. Omelet station produces very oily/greasy omelets. The only plus is the good selection of fresh fruits."

"I have always enjoyed and recommended Basil Leaf Cafe. Love ordering off the menu or Champagne Brunch.
Actually, this was the third time in the last six weeks that my friends and I have eaten at Basil Leaf Cafe. Each time we were on our way to see a theatrical production. More friends would have joined me, last Sunday, but the restaurant was booked. We all just love going to Basil Leaf Cafe for Champagne Brunch. Sunday, their was 7 of us at two different tables. A few weeks ago there was 16 of us. Can't wait to go back."

"The food was great but the service was spotty, I had to ask for another glass of wine and water. My reservation stated that it was sister's birthday but they had no idea of this at the restaurant.

Need to train the young staff."

"We had a group who ordered a variety from the regular menu and items from the daily special menu. The seafood combo special was good, the seafood was very fresh but the risotto was heavy with cheese which might be just be what someone else would love. The rib-eye steak was good and the kids were happy with their simple noodle dishes. It was easy to have a conversation the noise level was low and the restaurant was almost full. We were not squeezed into a small table or right next to someone else which made a very nice experience."
