"This is a great find! From the bartender to the Manager the staff was great. The manager was very attentive and you can tell he likes his job and is proud of this place which he should be. I have already recommended this great find to several friends who go to Vegas offen. I was there by myself on a convention and can not wait to bring my husband. Sincerely, Elizabeth Hartman"

"You have to return to The Barrymore on multiple occasions to try all the dishes that cause it to be difficult to decide. Do I have the lobster deviled eggs with caviar, the froi gras, the lobster Mac 'n Cheese, or the soft shell? Should I choose the halibut, the sea bass, the diver scallops, or the short ribs? But then there's the whole steak section....? And the sautéed spinach and creamed corn with bacon....? Too many tasties, too little time. Chris, reserve my table for later this week.!."

"We began by touring the lobby area which must fall under the category of retro chic. The restaurant itself is pretty nice though much smaller than I expected. There were some people sitting at the bar and several more on the patio, but the restaurant proper was barely half full this Friday evening.

We each ordered the roasted loup de mer, Mediterranean sea bass with a bean ragout, roasted Brussels sprouts and bacon while sharing a Caesar salad and baker. The combination of bean ragout and the sea bass was a bit strange, but the Brussels sprouts and fish were very good. As usual, our baker was way overdone. Service was very good throughout."

"Our dinner was fantastic. I haven't been to this property in probably 30 years. Everything has been revamped and turned chic. The restaurant looks like a throwback to another era, which is what they strived for.

The menu is wonderfully eclectic, and my wife's curry entree was as wonderful as my perfectly prepared Ribeye. And, how many times have you ever seen Lobster Deviled Eggs on a menu? They were delicious as well.

We can't wait to go back again."

"Upon arrival - the Royal Resort isn't a lot too look at compared to the rest of the Strip, however...since I've moved to Vegas - I've noticed that some of the best places I've eaten were NOT surrounded by the Glitz, Glamour & Dissappointment of the tourist ridden Strip venues.
Walk in the door - beautiful, yet not overdone lobby - bar to the right, Barrymore on the left...just inside the entrance to Barrymore, another bar on the right (exclusive to the restaurant) - just past the hostess stand was outdoor dining - Nice! with a glass enclosed "firewall" for ambience.
Seated in the "strip-view" dining room with upholstered lower walls, gold metallic upper walls with velvet inlaid medallions...Outstanding food for the $$$! Try it!"
