The Bank RestaurantNever disappointedThis is the third time we've dined at the Bank - an anniversary, Mother's Day and Easter. Each of those occasions has been an overwhelmingly positive experience. The food is first rate, the service exceptional and the dining room is just beautiful. Dining outdoors, on the deck, is fun too. We enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant and never felt rushed yet our food seemed to always arrive at the right time. Our server was very friendly and helpful as we made our selections. My wife and dressed casual, but there were others who dressed even more relaxed and there were even a few sport jackets in the crowd. Nobody seemed out of place. The food came quickly, I was dinng with someone who had many food restrictions, and they were easliy met without hesitation.
I was meeting my friend at 8:00 I arrived at 7:45 I gave the person at the podeum my friends name and said I would wait in the bar. My friend arrived about 5 minutes after I did but she had no idea I was there, she also gave the person at the podiem my name, and chose to be seated. Had lunch Sunday, right after they opened. Great conversation with staff - always helpful on beer choices. Love that they use local producers for food. Said we really liked the calamari but not breaded - he said no problem, they would grill it and they did. We love it done that way. Squash bisque (just pureed squash and herbs) was outstanding. The creme brulee for dessert is outstanding. It should be on everyone's list - however, don't! I want there to be a place for us and our friends!
