Our dinner from start to finsh was delightful! Drinks in the Living Room - vibrant yet welcoming and comfortable! Dinner was outstanding - the food was delicious and the service was outstanding - attentive yet not overbearing! Desserts were so pretty we didn't want to disturb them but we did and the flavors were wonderful. My favorite was an apple upside-down cake! We will return again and again!

We wondered if, given the relative newness, whether this restaurant would live up to the 'Park Hyatt' excellence seen in 'Lost in Translation'. We need not have worried - everything was superb from the decor to the food to the winelist. An impressive dining experience.

The space was just charming, with its sunken bar off to one side of the dining area. The waitstaff was quite attentive, and our twin entrees of uni (sea urchin) butter bucatini and mangalitsa pork rewarded us quite well. Both were rich and delicious. The dessert was selections of house-made ice creams and sorbets that were accompaniments to the other desserts on the menu, so they had been made with loving care. My only drawback was that they were served over a bed of crumbled chocolate cookies. Distracting from their individual and interesting flavors, and also the cookies were rather bland so only added an odd texture to the smoothness of the ice creams. Other than that, this was a winner, hands down.

I spend a lot of time in New York and understand and don't mind paying a premium but don't charge $20 and pour a drink using an auto pour stopper. The restaurant was nearly empty and the service was in attentive. The menu was rather limited but we did not stay for dinner given the above. Too bad because the space and ambiance are excellent.

We dined at the Back Room and had Breakfast the following morning. The food was absolutely perfect, the service was impeccable. Every dish lived up to expectations. Our server was super engaged and in love with the food, and totally on top of any questions we asked. Super super high quality dishes without any over the top foodie drama or pretentiousness. It was one of those meals where everything worked to the highest degree 10/10, we didn't want to leave. Their breakfast was also flawless - everything was on target and top notch, and the teas are excellent. The take on 'Tater Tot' at dinner was genius, and the poached egg at breakfast was quite something to behold I wanted to hug the chef. We will be back soon.

On top of the impeccable and sleek decor, the service was above and beyond. First time we had an experience where the waiter seemed to know what we wanted or needed before we spoke! Menu was a great selection.
