Great spot, great seafood right by Music Hall. Since it was our first visit, our server helped us a lot with our selections and gave us really good advice. The salads were very good but our main courses were terrific. Very fresh, simply but nicely presented. Service was quite efficient.
If you're going to Music Hall (and like seafood), The Anchor is on the northwest corner of the park and a short walk to Music Hall. We could park once, enjoy a leisurely dinner and walk to the venue. Service could not have been better - and I do not say that lightly. I am always worried when I take the leap for sea bass because I LOVE sea bass, but therefore I am so picky about it and sometimes disappointed. This was like no sea bass I've ever had and was wonderful. The whole fish comes to you on a plate and your server will debone it for you right there - tasted almost like lobster! Server said it came with grilled veggies when I ordered, and apparently realized later that it was a la carte. He simply told me his mistake and brought the veggies anyway free of charge (and they were AWESOME)! We decided on the Anchor because we had heard so many wonderful things. We were not disappointed! Our waitress was very helpful and upbeat. The food was beautifully plated and tasted even better! The woman next to me gasped "What is that?" when my order of brussel sprouts was delivered, I insisted that she try some of mine before I had even tasted them. They ordered some for themselves as just a taste of them is far from enough.

A rather small-but-satisfying seafood menu with some tremendous traditional fish and a few twists on conventions.
