You won't go bad eating here. They have a nice variety of Mexican foods that are authentic. The alcoholic drinks are good and the atmosphere great for parties or a quick bite.

The food is always consistent with good sized portions. We always have enough to take home for a second meal. The chips and salsa are plentiful. The service is not always consistent, sometimes you have to wait too long for service. However, the wait staff is always pleasant.

My father was the founder and creator of The Alamo restaurant. It was great to revisit and enjoy the food again along with my relatives that I have not seen in ages. We so enjoyed the Sunday brunch and the wonderful tantalizing array of great food. Omir our server was wonderful as always. Thank you for the memorable visit. Remember the Alamo y Viva Porfiirio Campos!

  • Waiter needed search party!

We came at 2:15 pm with a party of 7 and were the only table seated in the entire restaurant. Three of the ladies in our party were retiring from our company, it was an important but light hearted event. Our waiter was so far away and hard to find that I had to actually walk through the restaurant to the bar (3 times!) to ask for our waiter, more beers, more chips & and to tell him we were ready to order. The food was great as always. The only thing odd was the absent waiter. Thank you for asking my opinion. I will always come back. The Alamo has been part of my life for 16 years. You a a great restaurant.

The decor was noticeably old, rundown, and in need of a remodel. The food was good except for the salad. The service was attentive.

Should have walked out when they handed us the tattered menus. It went downhill from there. Poor service and below average food....a bad combination. I think they forgot we were there a couple times. We'll never go back.

Not the experience I expect from an opentable restaurant. Service left a lot to be desired. No eating utensils were provided. Not a place I would go in a business or social setting.
