HOWEVER...the music noise level kept increasing throughout dinner to the point that we demanded it be turned down, a request that wasn't really taken seriously because the level decreased ever-so-slightly for about 5 minutes, then right back up it went. We felt foolish that we didn't know about Thasos, it's literally 10 minutes from our house and its a neighborhood gem. Very South Beach feel though pretentious-free. Don't feel like you have to dress glam, we saw a little bit of everything and no one looked out of place. I can see that Thasos could be very noisy when packed, cement floors, brick walls reflect sound but don't let it put you off. We didn't find the prices or food portions out of line either, we are about quality, not quantity! They need to do something about it! There are ways to deal with that. There are engineers who specialize in acoustics. Do it please!!! Sooner rather than later.

Lauderdale our expectations for palatable food were super low (though we had some pretty great Cuban in N. Miami to be fair).
But this place is of international quality - maybe not a 5 star at that level - but easily a solid 3+ - but locally it's a glorious find. The food is simple yet sophistated - the service was truly graceful and the environment so fun yet elegant.
Other than our dear friends, it's the one thing that would bring us back to Ft. The salmon entree was perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. The lamb chops were also wonderfully seasoned, tender and truly delightful.
