THALI is an innovative restaurant in New Haven whose chef, Prasad Chirnomula, is determined to change the way you think about Indian food. Dishes come from all over India. Rated excellent by The New York Times. The service is gracious and careful, with an eye toward educating the clientele. Eating at Thali is like taking a crash course in the diversity of Indian cuisines , and it is tremendous fun. As good as the food is here, the desserts stand out.
