  • "If you want ALOT of great tasting food-this is the place! You do pay though. For a flat fee of about $45 each, you get to enjoy an amazing salad bar area with top notch food that ranges from salads to cheeses, to sushi to smoked salad. You also have the option of serving yourself from a hot bar of rice, beans potatoes & soup. If you want to get straight to business, turn over your card & you will be approached by the meat servers. Waiters weave thru out the tables with a variety of fresh hot meat for your picking. Each waiter has a different meat to offer. Sirloin, flank steak, bacon wrapped chicken, prime rib-it's never ending! Desserts are extra & equally as amazing! We were full for the next two days!"

  • "Great food and great selection. Salad bar is hard to get past before all those meat selections."

  • "An delectable dining experience! My husband, son, and I enjoyed the variety of meats and salad choices that were presented."

  • "The total experience was tremendous. The food was very good, the service excellent. I have never been anywhere that compares."

  • "We always try to take full advantage of the special dining card offer that provides 12 half-price dinners for one over a four or five month period. With three in our family that means at least four trips. Well worth the purchase price of the card, as you save several times the cost. And endless carvings of varieties of meat helps, as well as a terrific salad bar with excellent lobster bisque."

  • "We celebrated our 2nd anniversary here along with our 3rd, 4th, and 6th! The food is amazing, service is wonderful, and it has a perfect ambiance! We will certainly go back again!"

  • "The food was amazing as always. The flank steak is always my favorite and it didn't disappoint this time! The salad bar is fantastic and the lobster bisque is a must! Only negative thing to say is that it is always freezing in the restaurant and usually quite noisy."

  • "I live 80 miles away in a smaller city and travel towards Chicago just to eat there and walk through the Mall it's in, which is on the list of largest 10 Malls in the U.S., so it's a good destination with something to do and a great place to eat. The food is unmatched this side of Chicago. You may find places as good further into the city but not in Madison, and so far not in Milwaukee, though I'm still looking. The salad bar alone is full of more than salad and makes a better meal option than anywhere else, and that's before you add the top notch array of 9 different meats grilled over charcoal, all you can eat! If I lived closer I'd weigh a lot more. The only place I enjoyed as much was Chef Mickey's Signature Restaurant at Disney World."

  • "We visited Texas de Brazil for the first time and were overwhelmed by the offerings--in a good way! The salad bar was full of unique items and the main course is a carnivore's dream. The gauchos provided us with a constant array of meats, even remembering that my husband wanted well done and had well done meat every time they returned to the table. Hostess, manager and server were willing to explain things to first-timers. A couple of small negatives to mention--everything on the salad bar wasn't labeled and I wasn't sure what a few items were so I didn't try them. Also of the 16 meats named on the online menu, we were not offered beef ribs, pork ribs or chicken sausage. All in all, it was a great experience and we will definitely return."

  • "This was my third time coming here. I was with a group the first time and with family the other two. We had great service every time and excellent food. It is a little pricey so we will save it for special occasions, which keeps it new and worth the wait! It is well worth the cost; brunch includes drinks and dessert. We will be back!"

  • "Food good but overpriced. Best option, do almost the same menu for 1/2 price. But, quality of food is good, very good. Great salad bar."

  • "This is a very amazing place to eat, and very beautiful, but the price seems to keep going up, and I am just wondering how high it is going to go."

  • "The food was amazing!! Loved all the choices on salad bar and the meat!! Our kids even tried new foods and enjoyed them. The service, on the other hand, was very slow when it came to refilling our waters and drinks. We would have for sure enjoyed another cocktail or beer if anyone would have come to our table to ask."

  • "I have been to make Brazilian steak houses, and I keep coming back to this one. Great service, great food, great ambiance, all around excellent choice for dinner and drinks. Last time there it was 4 of us, we enjoyed the food and wine list, easily spent $400.00, but it was well worth it! Service is good as well."

  • "I've been to numerous brazilian steakhouses and Texas de Brazil is the only one i keep going back to. The meats are done consistently (flavors and quality doesn't change from visit to visit). The servers are friendly and informative. You can ask for anything and they will make it happen."

  • "We really enjoyed our visit to Texas de Brazil to celebrate a college graduation. The salad bar is filled with interesting choices. The lobster bisque was amazing! The servers who brought the meat selections to the table were friendly, and it seemed like they were there almost immediately when you turned over the disk to green. (If you don't want to be interrupted, just turn the disk to red.) Our favorites were the flank steak and garlic sirloin. The side dishes were delicious as well. They have some wonderful dessert choices. Get one to share!"

  • "The sirloin and flank steaks were tougher than the leather in my shoes. The filet and lamb were decent, but you're better off spending the 45 plus dollars on a great piece of steak at a reputable steak house."

  • "The food, as always, is excellent. All of the meats are cooked to perfection and are endless. The salad bar is fresh and well kept and has nice variety. The service is good, but not great. The guys who bring the meat around all seemed bothered to be doing their jobs, aggressively putting their plate on the table and pushing our plates and glasses of wine hastily when they were not even in the way. Our server was very nice, but not very personable and it was hard to hear her, she was just very quiet, but again, nice enough. We were there to celebrate our wedding anniversary and I just don't think we would go back for a special occasion, it's not intimate enough and the service is not up to par for such an occasion."

  • "The service was outstanding. Our waiter catered to all our needs, ensured out beverages were regularly refilled, and explained the menu choices. The food is excellent, not skimping on the quality of the meat or the choices."

  • "Food was great. The only problem was that we made a reservation for 7 but we were not seated until about 10 past, despite arriving early in an attempt to get seated sooner. Once seated, management went out of the way to see to our needs including providing a specialty dish request. "

  • "Texas de Brazil is always a dining delight. The salad bar is absolutely delicious and has the only potato salad anywhere that I enjoy. The au gratin potatoes will melt in your mouth and the seasoned meats will leave you delirious."

  • "This is a great place for Birthdays. Took my boys there for their 19th Birthday and as usual they LOVED IT!! The service is always awesome and the food is wonderful. The waitstaff is attentive but not overbearing. This is out go to place!"

  • "We had reservations on a Saturday night, and walked in to a half empty restaurant. All the more reason we found it strange to be seated at a small table practically in the salad bar. Salad bar offerings were good. Meat was just okay. Many of the "medium" selections ended up being quite rare. Also the concept of red and green disc was often ignored by the servers. They kept interrupting and asking if we wanted what they were taking around, even though both of our discs were clearly on red. Our actual waitress had what sounded like an Eastern European accent, and spoke barely above a whisper. We frequently had to ask her to repeat herself. All in all, it was kind of a disappointment. Too much money for the food quality and service."

  • "Went here to celebrate husband's birthday. Food was delicious! Only compliant is that even though we had a reservation we had to wait about 15 minutes for a table."

  • "The food was really good. There was so much great food you didn't know where to start. However the service was horrible. Took over 15 minutes for water. They never refilled the rolls or potatoes. And they kept screwing up the check. I was upset by how much it costs to eat there and the service didn't cater to me more."

  • "I come to this restaurant a few times a year; any more often would be too much. The meats are always delicious and the staff here is always so attentive! Salad bar changed up slightly each time and there are so many good choices! Not for vegetarians, but if they had to be there, at least the salad bar is great!"

  • "Almost everything was perfect! Amazing buffet choices (Faves: chimichurri, green beans, feijoada), beautiful atmosphere, delicious meats! The lamb chops were the best I've ever had, but all the pork seemed to be too dry, but tenderloin can be easy to overcook, so I forgive that and just skip the pork next time. My only complaint would be the service. Maybe he was having an off night, but he seemed either too overworked or rushed. Or maybe it was because we had a $25 coupon that Texas sent us for joining their e-club. While I noticed other servers chatting up their tables here and there, our server kept it very short with us when checking up, and rushed through his welcoming "schpiel" and dessert offerings. But overall we enjoyed everything."

  • "Excellent variety of grilled meats. You will get your fill, and definitely not leave on an empty stomach."

  • "This restaurant is on the more expensive side, about $29.99/person, not counting alcohol and dessert but worth every penny. I could have easily made the salad bar my main meal, that's how good it is. The meats are cooked perfectly and have great flavor! I strongly recommend the garlic sirloin. Service is excellent too. I recommend this place if you like meat and chicken, and you like to try a little of everything. Join the email club, once signed up, they send you a $25 off coupon, you get coupons for your birthday and occasion coupons throughout the year. Totally worth it."

  • "Made my first trip to the Texas de Brazil restaurant. I went with a co worker who frequented this Brazilian style steakhouse and actual restaurant many times. We were seated and attended to by Louis throughout the evening checking on us often. I started in the self serve salad and appetizer area where there was 50 - 60 seasonal vegetables, meats and assorted chesses to chose from. My co worker dived right into the savory meats constantly rotating around the tables: Filet and flank steaks, chicken, pork sausage, and lamb. My personal favorites were the lamb and Filet. We were not rushed so we talked and drank a lot. Stayed long enough to order the Flan which was a huge serving. A great and fun place to dine with a group!"

  • "I have to say that this place was awesome, could not make my reservation because I had to work late and they accommodated me by making a later reservation for me. I was thrilled since I was going there for a anniversary dinner with my girlfriend. They make it a great night for the both of us. The food was perfect, the service was excellent, could not have been happier They made our special day sensational. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone, you have to try it at least once, it is a fantastic experience, not like your normal restaurants. I can not wait to go back."

  • "This place matches your appetite for food along with your desire for quality food. You will leave this place happy and satisfied from the plethora of options for your dining experience. Food for two and two mixed drinks cost $115 w/tax, and it was well worth it! We of course bought 3 additional tasty drinks after that. It was a fun experience and a nice way to help celebrate."
