  • "This was a very good experience for my husband's birthday. The salad bar was wonderful; so many different options other than just salad. And the meat was excellent. This location only had 12 of the 16 options shown on the website, but it was plenty. Some of the meat was dry or overcooked, but overall it was delicious. It is definitely expensive but worth it for a special occasion."

  • "We had a LOVELY time there! We have been to this location probably 7-10 times and we always enjoy it but this time was especially nice! I almost called the manager to thank him for the great service and how impressed we were with their customer service! I also came one time to celebrate being a breast cancer survivor (thank God) and the waiter gave us a free dessert to take home (God knows you all feed us delicious steak and other foods to the point there is no room for dessert when we're there!!!). Smile. But, we would definitely recommend you all; we've also visited the Florida TDB in Orlando and they were good but if I had to give out an award it would be the Short Pump location!   • "Whether you are going out to a dinner date with that special someone, or going out with "The Crew" this is a great place to get amazing food for a relatively reasonable price. The salad and cold bar offer the best options of veggies, cheeses, cold cuts, and even more. When it comes to the meats, everything was cooked over fire and were the most tender cuts of meat available. The lamb and filet mignon were absolutly amazing; only to be outdone by the filet being wrapped with bacon. The parmesan chicken was moist and flavorful, and the drinks menu had a great variety. This place is an overall must for anyone who has ever left a restaurant with less than perfect expectations being met. Give it a try and you won't be disappointed."

We were told we would get medium rare meet, and everything was cooked well. The last filet we got was grey in color and had a funny taste. The waiter was so busy we had to wait a long time for a check."

  • "I brought my father-in-law and his wife to Texas de Brazil for his birthday. He and his wife were vegetarians before but gave up that lifestyle about a year ago. They had a wonderful time with the salad bar and the constant rounds of meat...everything was delicious. The gauchos were very friendly with my 10 year old daughter, especially the lamb chop wait staff who always came around to my daughter as that is what she was eating the whole time. He was attentive to her needs. The waitress was also conscientious to my father-in-laws wife and always watched that the gauchos brought her medium well meat. Even though we were stuffed, the waitress insisted we take the free birthday dessert home. Glad we did. It was delicious."

I have to say that I was thoroughly impressed with the décor, the presentation of the salad area and of course the entrées. This was our first time in this type of restaurant and I loved it.   • "This is my son's favorite place to go to celebrate his birthday and we have had a great time for the past 4 years. The choices at the salad bar are phenomenal and the meats they serve to you at tableside are "to-die-for" tasty. All 5 of us enjoyed our meals. The only negative comment is on the wine assortment/prices. The wines are very overpriced for what you get - bottles and single glasses. Although restaurants mark up their wines over what they can be bought in a store, this restaurant marks them up almost double of other restaurants. Otherwise the evening was quite a success."

  • "I booked my reservation through OpenTable for 715. I arrived promptly at 710 and wasn't seated for 20 minutes. Everyone who was in line in front of me that were walkins were seated first. The good is good, a little salty but good overall. No need to make a reservation, it's not like it's going to matter. You'll be seated just like everyone else reservation or not."

  • "My husband & I decided to celebrate my birthday at TDB - Short Pump. We were seated at our exact reservation time. After we came back from the salad bar, we still did not have any drinks. In fact, we had finished our salads before any drinks came. But once the drinks came, the server was prompt to our needs for the rest of dinner. I requested a more medium to medium-well selection of meat but I kept receiving medium rare. Overall though, it was a lovely evening. If I had to make a suggestion: put a note somewhere stating that if parents decide to bring young children to TDB, they keep a close eye on them. Too many kids were running around and bumping into gauchos while they were carrying sharp knives. It can be very dangerous."

  • "The moment we walked in we knew it would be a pleasant experience. The setting was beautiful and all the staff was very friendly. I'm not a big meat eater but they had plenty of delicious options in the bar that were unique and delicious. My Husband commented that I ate more meat than he's ever seen me eat. I was impressed by the seasoning, the high quality cuts of meat, it was cooked to perfection."
