Diner Reviews
  • "This is probably a once few while dining experience. There is only so much meat a person can eat. After a few minutes everything starts to taste the same. The service was good. My 14 year old son enjoyed himself. The adults at the table were bored."

  • "When I walked into Texas De Brazil, I was floored! The service, ambiance, FOOD, and service was stellar! I will be back. Dinner price is $46.99 and it's well worth it!!!!!!! Check this place out if you haven't already!"
    Dined on 7/21/2014
  • "The food was great but the service was awful the many times I have been there on July 19, 2014 was the worst experience ever"
    Dined on 7/19/2014
  • "Been to many Texas De Brazil. This one did not impress me at all. We sat right in main walkway. But many times the meat just passed us by. Even little things like water glasses left empty for long time. The Lauderdale location better."
    Dined on 7/13/2014
  • "Great food, and lots of it. Staff eager to serve. Great concept in running a restaurant. Somewhat expensive, but worth it."

  • "This was my 2nd visit. My families first. Pace yourself should be written on every plate. There were more flavor choices than I could try before filling my belly and giving up. The deserts looked great, but I could not find room. We enjoyed ourselves a lot."

  • "I visited the gardens location with my husband for hit birthday and we were very pleased with each and every cut and choice of meat we had. The Sides were excellent as well, I really enjoyed my evening. All and all I would still recommend to everyone"

  • "If you are a beef, lamb or pork lover, this place is for you!! What a lovely restaurant, with a great salad/appetizer bar. Service was very attentive too. It also looked like one of the cleanest restaurants...not a spec of anything on the floors...management has a fetish for detail(s) and it shows!"

  • "I have eaten at this location on several occasions. I have always enjoyed the good food and service at this restaurant. My latest visit was just average on the food and service. Still not a bad meal but I suppose my expectations were higher based upon past experiences. If I were rating based upon all previous visits it would be excellent across the board."

  • "Te restaurant was up to it's regular excellent quality. We enjoyed the service, the ambience and excellent food. If I noticed any change, it was that the salad bar seemed less overwhelming than in the past. It could be just the summer version, shortened from the normal high season offering."

  • "The lobster bisque was delicious and the salad bar outstanding, but the meat, although it lookedn great and was cooked perfectly, was so salty that I could not eat most of it. The hot side dishes that I tried, specifically the potatoes and the mushrooms, were so laden with salt that I could not eat them. The mashed potatoes that weren brought to the table tasted as if they were not from fresh potatoes, rather from a box. It was a fun concept, but very disappointing."
    Dined on 7/6/2014
  • "Lots of variety but for a party of 4 expect to pay $300 for average quality tiny slices of meat. Service was great though."

  • "I've been to Texas de Brazil in other locations (Orlando and Tampa) this is comparable as far as food and service. The server had to remind the persons serving the meat that one of the persons at our table requested well done. Felt that more often than not we had to wait on meat to arrive. Still an overall pretty good experience though."
    Dined on 7/3/2014
  • "I've been to a few Brazilian style restaurants and this was the best by far. Servers came often and would happily take special requests."

  • "great service. Meat pretty good although salty. parmesan chicken dry. Too pricey for a regular dining spot. Need to offer happy hour at the table during correct times."

  • "As accurate a Brazil steakhouse as it gets. Expensive but worth it is you love meat and are a big eater. Look for coupons."

  • "If it were not for the superior service from our waiter I would have only given the overall grade as fair. The service from the gauchos was mediocre. They passed our table many times without even a glance. The bartender kept disappearing so our waiter had to make our drinks himself. Texas De Brazil in my opinion is a poor stepchild to Fogo de Chao, and Chima in service and décor. By the way when they warn you that the meat is heavily salted they are not kidding."

  • "Great service and the food was amazing!!! We enjoyed the location and the atmosphere. This restaurant is above all the others by far with their wonderful selections."

  • "A great place to go when you are hungry and craving every kind of meat. Leg of lamb, lamb chops and beef ribs are NOT to be missed. My husband was recently at a "famous" Fogo de Chao. He says this place puts it to shame. Great service and high quality. All staff goes above and beyond to make sure your dining experience is top notch. We'll be back!"

  • "We dined after 8 pm during the week and they had run out of some of the best choices of meat. The restaurant wasn't that busy, but we weren't served our side dishes (mashed potatoes) until we were completely done with eating. We had to ask a couple times to bring back certain selections of meat that we wanted. The salad bar was fabulous! There were so many selections to choose from and your could easily fill up with these selections. It was my husband's birthday, and we took a desert to go since it was so late by the time desert was offered. They did comp the desert for his birthday and that was very nice."

  • "Have always enjoyed this chain and was looking forward to going to this new locale. It was a special birthday. Seated next to a very noisy family, requested another area. We were told it was not open. Should have left, but since we have always enjoyed it, we gambled. Total waste. Hard surfaces, not furnished nearly as plush as other locales. Too pricey for what it offers."

  • "Not the cheapest dinner (about $50 a person) but really good. Amazing salad bar and unlimited perfectly cooked meats. You won't leave unhappy. Love this place!"

  • "Went to celebrate my husband's birthday with friends. Michael the bar tender was outstanding. Made a great martini for me and seemed very knowledgable about the wine list . Dinner was great. The salad bar has much to choose from, but don't fill up on the salad because you need to leave room for the main course! Once you indicate you are ready to begin, the meats start coming and never stop! One more delicious than the next. Lamb chops, leg of lamb, sausage, filet mignon, pork tenderloin, chicken and at least 4 other selections all served by very personable Gauchos on swords sliced to order at the table. Our waitress was very attentive as well. Would highly recommend Texas de Brazil but suggest you save it for special occasions."

  • "The food was very plentyful..just kept it coming. The salad bar was enough then add the entrees and OMG! THEN dessert..that just put us over the top! All 4 of us had a diffrent one.. and tried them all.. weren't really hungery by then but had to try.. Wish they had a sampler tray because by the time you got to dessert you didnt want any.."

  • "Having dinner at Texas de Brazil is a fun experience. Their salad bar is wonderful, with many delicious, un-ordinary salad bar items. And the choices of various meats brought to the table seemed endless, altho some were offered more often than others. I tried the filet mignon, beef rib, roast lamb, lamb chops, garlic sirloin and pork spareribs. Most were very good, altho salty (it is explained before the meal that the meats are either coated with or cooked in salt, for tenderness. I found the beef rib to be the best (neither that nor the pork sparerib was salty), but the server wielding the skewer of that visited our table only once, despite our waiting quite a while for his return."

  • "We arrived on time and were seated at once. The salad bar was very different and very good. The various meats that were brought to our table were extremely tasty. This is a good restaurant for an occasion, but a little pricy for everyday dining."

  • "First time to this place. Other reviews were hit or miss. tried it anyway... Just a great experience! we will be back. yes it's pricey, but it's worth it. food is delicious, salad bar super. bacon chicken ridiculous creme brule some of the best. manager is Eric and his whole staff are great! Sometimes slow on the arrival of the meat even with the green card up, but it was actually better that they didn't show up. We spent 3 hours there and had a wonderful time. sat outside."

  • "Great food! The salad bar was very unique and the meat was awesome. Some of the best service I think I've ever had. The servers are very attentive and it was a very enjoyable evening. First time I've found my self laughing and enjoying myself almost as much as the food in a long time!"

  • "Meats were all amazing! Service was even more amazing! My only recommendation would be to add more sides. The sides they had were delicious but there's only a few to choose from. I would definitely go again."

  • "The Rodizio was great. All the meats were cooked to our liking, my wife eats well done and I like medium to medium rare. The beef ribs and lamb chops were the best. Salad bar and hot bar were fenomenal too but who goes to a Brazilian Rodizio to eat salad? Lol This is a must go place, just make sure you had a very light lunch so you can trully enjoy your dinner. With tables outside its a nice place to go in the Florida winter (73*) and relax while drinking a "caipirinha"!"

  • "Great experience. First time at a Brazilian steak house, but not the last! Meat is so flavorful, the staff was most welcoming and the salad bar has everything you can think of. Everything on the salad bar was fresh and all the dishes full and nicely presented. The servers make sure you have plenty to eat, and are very accessible. The staff really added to the meal, they were all very friendly."

  • "VERY SALTY MEATS ! why ? so one eats less ? I don't think so. most older folks, like us, are cooling it on the sodium. serving pricey, bitter meat. what are they thinking ? diners can sprinkle on, as much as they want. it's not hard. it was not like that the last time we were there. i told the server and the manager came over with a nothing but, "we'll watch it the next time" and that was that. somehow, my opentable reservation was canceled ? so strange. I phoned their Texas DB Corp and no one has returned my call"

  • "The food was very good. The salad bar has a lot of choices. The meat servers kept coming around so you don't have to wait or ask for someone to come to your table. We were VERY disappointed in the size of the martini's, the cost $12.00 each. They were a very short pour. Not even half a glass when you pulled the olives out. Plus it took about 15 minutes for our drinks to come to the table. I know the glasses were large, but in other restaurants, with the same size glasses they are filled to the rim with the cost being $8.50 or $9.00."
