I have been to a few Texas de Brazil's and not only has the food been spectacular but the service has always been well above standard. I was looking forward to the opening of NYC Texas de Brazil and my wife took me for Fathers Day and I figured they just opened and had to iron out some wrinkles. We had a table of 6 both times and were sat in the back end of the restaurant. In other Texas de Brazil the waiter asked us how we liked our meat cooked and gouchos continued to bring us meat cooked to preference, but here they never asked, service was slow if any at all and the gouchos were invisible and when they did show they only offered rare meat which only satisfied 2 of our 6 guests. 4 of us sat for over 45 minutes without eating and then the manager passed by and we informed him but still the meat came rare and finally the manager came by again and finally some one asked how we preferred our meats. Texas de Brazil is my favorite restaurant but this one was lacking in service and knowledge, very unlike the brand.

This was my first time there I was with my two sisters, and we love the food, wine etc. location is great. I asked my sisters will they come back, they both said yes!!!. There is a lot of pork on the meat, so if you are a person that do not eat pork, call ahead, and ask I'd they could have some of the meat with out the pork, they will take care of you.

Second time I've been here and the food, service, n ambiance is just as nice as the first time. I'm a food snob and everything here tasted amazing. Really flavorful and well seasoned meats. Not the usual drab dash of salt and pepper that other places season the outside of their bland The "cheese" bread and lobster bisque is drool worthy. Their salad bar is no ordinary salad bar. Pricey.. with a drink n desert expect to pay $100/per person With they opened later.. just 1030. But I came late at 1015 and received the full service. No one rushing me.

This was my first experience with this style restaurant and I loved it. A few of my friends and I went for my best-friends birthday. I made reservations online and the table was ready when we arrived. The staff was great and the food was tasty. I'm not a big fan of meat in general so at first I was skeptical but I found that the meats were delicious and cooked to perfection. The salad bar is extensive, we had to be careful not to eat too much before the meat arrived. Overall I am happy with this experience and I would definitely return.

The place is very nice. Con- there were two greeters, the dark haired young lady was set as pie and so adorable. The blonde haired young lady was not very pleasant. The food was not seasoned at all like most of these types of restaurants. Rainhas on Vernon Blvd tastes much better and $20 cheaper

Although it is all you can eat meat, how much can you really eat? Very overpriced and salty. Service was great though. The salad bar was mostly cold items, more hott items should be added. Desert not being included was a disappointment, they should have had something at the salad bar.

Cons: The salad bar is very shy, and the sushi/sashimi looked so bad!! In terms of food, it's not even close to a Brazilian traditional churrascaria. All meat are very rare. The desert choices are very American. Food that i can find anywhere. Too expensive for nothing special. Pros: Place is beautiful and the service was great.

I decided last minute togog to texas de brazil instead of going to plataforma , what a big mistake !! Food was horrible , sausage was salty , the filet mignon was chewy and old . everything seemed to be old . the rice was sticky and crunchy like it had been seating there for a few hours . service wasn't great either , at a point the table was full of plates and no one came to clean it . one of the "gauchos" the ones serving the meats had the only attitude when my husband told him he didn't want the piece of meat he was cutting , he wanted a piece from another side of the meat since it was more cooked the gaucho rolled his eyes , honestly i would NOT recommend anyone to go. Overpriced.bad service and terrible food.

People normally associate an "all-you-can-eat" with low quality, cheap food. This is not the case at TdeB. You do pay a hefty price tag for the AYCE ($60) but it is well worth it if you come with an appetite. There are 16 different cuts of HIGH quality meat including sausage, filet mignon, parmesan crusted pork tenderloin, bacon wrapped chicken, flank steak, lamb shank, garlic sirloin etc. The food just keeps coming and coming until you flip your decal to the red side. Our group absolutely loved the experience, however they did note that the lamb was a little too salty. Tip: get a bowl of the red wine mushrooms over by the buffet and place on top of your steaks as a delicious addition! GO GATORS!

The food is delectable! A few servers had attitude and skipped our table when we were requesting the meats they had. The manager rectified it and checked in with us several times. It was a great experience for my husbands' birthday. They do NOT sing Happy Birthday and would NOT seat partial parties to support a surprise but it was still a nice time.

Salad bar was awesome - loved the lobster bisque. We had an awesome waiter by the name of Spencer. He really made the experience worth-while. Any meat we wanted after all selections circulated he made sure they brought back to us promptly. Their specialty drinks were AMAZING. I had a Brazilian Sunset (I think thats the name not too sure) & my sister had a specialty margarita & both were perfected. The meats were juicy & cooked to perfection. The manager stops to make sure everything is okay & that is also great, you know theyre paying attention.

Much better experience than the first time I went here as there was no obnoxious party going on with loud, drunk adults. Food is great and those serving the food are attentive but trying to get refills on drinks, etc. can be a challenge. I think this place is way too big and am not sure how they will stay in business as it was nearly empty when I was there on a Wednesday evening. It also can get super noisy based on the design of the restaurant, so much so that you cannot hold a conversation with someone sitting across from you.

The salad table which comes with dinner is a meal in itself with delicious choices including soup. It was lobster bisque when I was there- yum! The roving carvers with skewers of meat stop and let you decide whether you want what they have. If you don't want that another choice will be along shortly. The sausages are great. The only disappointment was that they did not have cream or half and half for the coffee just milk or skim milk. Tried two desserts both of which were delicious unnecessary given the size of the meal but it was a birthday celebration.

I have visited some of the Texas de Brazil restaurants other Places. This time and last time (Miami Beach) I was dissapointed of the quality of the meat. You have to take care of the meat which is one of the serious reasons to choice Texas de Brazil. It was better when I visited your restaurant in Las Vegas the first time in 2010. One of my Danish friends mentioned that he had the same experience earlier this year. Just to let you know. The reastaurant in NYC is not so beautyfull as other Places (Las Vegas and Miami Beach).

The cold salad bar was fantastic....delightful veggies and meal accompaniments. The meats were delicious, beautiful cuts. The Texas ribs needed more slow-cooking/smoking if the word Texas is used. The atmosphere is somewhat vacuous and empty feeling, and I'm sure the interior design would do better in photos that it does in person given the incongruities and unresolved challenges with scale and proportion. All in all, for $59 prixfix, it's a very good Brazilian-Type Steakhouse experience but feels a bit like a Las Vegas restaurant just off the strip.

I'm Italian and maybe a bit spoilt about food but this restaurant is the worst place I've ever been. They pretend to serve the Brazilian rodizo but the waiter are unable to carve properly the meat. Meat quality is a avarage to poor. They had a birthday party with very loud and unpolite guest and the manager didn't say a word to that group. I had to tell the manager that was very noisy and finally he went to talk to the guys. Wine list very very pricey. Place on sat night was quite empty I had the feeling to be in a tourist trap. Never again!

I've always been interested in Brazilian styled steakhouses, from watching it on TV and so forth. I chose Texas de Brazil because of location and ratings & reviews I've seen on Yelp. My initial experience started at the bar, the bartender seemed cool and attentive. Once my guests arrived we were taken upstairs to be seated. I started with the salad bar first all the items were fresh and neatly displayed. Once the servers started coming around w/ the meats is when the real experience began! I specifically told my waiter to hold off on the pork which he complied to the servers. Highlights were the Brazilian soda!! All the meats were well seasoned! My only complaint would be some were medium rare but most were well done. Nice Decor, Great Exp!
